Hands down the best burger ever!!!!!! I had the born in the USA burger cooked medium rare, perfectly I may add, with salt and vinegar French fries which also had the perfect amount of Seasoning and an Elvis shake. It was amazing!!!! I loved it I eat there every day now!!

Burgers are OK, but nothing like the other reviews I've read! Actually small for an $8 burger that has LOTS of mayonnaise in different forms from the regular mayo to the Baadd sauce! The custard shakes are All runny! We had the Elvis, Strawberry Shortcake, and the blackberry cobbler Custards! All were runny and none of the burgers were anything to Rave about! The service was the only thing decent. Do Not Recommend! Price is high for what you get & Not Great Food!
Found this place last year when passing through Springfield and trying to find something I had never had. Won me over. Next time through town I had to go back and look forward to the next. Don't skip out on the custard, blackberry cobbler is my recommendation. Burgers do have some toppings I'm not even familiar with but I'm willing to learn. And the garlic mayo for your fries is a must have. I never imagined I would like mayo with my fries, turns out I do.
This place is a must try for burger lovers. I am not a burger fan but this place had me hooked! Faaaaar from restaurant style burgers which cost a lot. This place will give you that restaurant quality with freshest ingredients (I could even say better than shake shack too) their Colin (chicken tenders) melts in your mouth, same as their fries. Will definitely explore more of their menu and shakes. Definitely going back!
This was my first visit to Black Sheep. We got the chicken sandwich and three burgers. The burgers were excellent as was the chicken. The fries were nice and crispy and went well with the dipping sauces. The truffle mayo was especially tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative I had was that the floors needed a more thorough mopping as they were a bit slick from oil that you can get at fast food places.
Great place to grab a significantly better than average burger and super tasty fries. Also a beer or delicious milkshake. This is one of the places I most often reccomend to visitors to SGF. Very much recommend going in and taking a seat - the drive through line (and wait) can get very long sometimes. But I've never had to wait long when dining in.
I post photos reviews but rarely leave comments about the food. Today is a special case.We were seated quickly and politely. The server Jose made awesome recommendations. Our food was AMAZING!!!!!!! So delicious!!!!!!! We would drive 1.5 hours to eat her again. Great service, great food, and great ambience. The fries... omg. They did not skimp on the parmesean. The dipping sauces were creamy and delicious!The burgers (Drool) were so good???!I got the Blues Brothers. Chunky blue cheese. The bib lettuce helped the structure stay together. The bun was soft. Yummm!My husband got the Cowboy Carl and said the brisket was divine!A great experience!
I love this place! Good food great employees!But I have to say I was there a few days ago & their employees couldn't take any card payments, so they made the food & gave it to me anyway, but I told them I would be back to pay for it. Anyhow as I came back with my cash payment, they had other customers they had to do the same thing with, and from what I was told some of the customers took advantage of the situation & ordered more food ?.I'm absolutely disappointed in the people here in Springfield, you do know "free isn't free" someone is always going to pay for it, the business & employees, if they don't make money, they can't pay their employees, if they can't pay their employees they have to let them go, if they have to let them go then that business will more than likely have to shut down, instead of taking advantage and not even coming back to pay for it, do the right dang thing, everyone that did that is apart of the problem in this world, do better.
My husband just went through the ASAP drive through. He handed the girl at the window a clearly written order. The order received was 2 regular burgers, not what was written on the note. Second time something like this has happened. We will not be back!
