The BBQ honey whiskey tenders were amazing. Also had the chicken bacon ranch fries for an appetizer that were delicious.
10 minutes before my group was acknowledged and welcomed. Simple drink order (4 waters) took another 5-6 minutes to get to the table. No napkins or silverware in sight but they were delivered after asking. Wait time for food was not an issue. No drink refills, server disappeared. After getting up to look for him, finally asked another employee to track him down so we could pay the bill. I can’t remember ever leaving a restaurant without providing a server gratuity, but today was that day. Felt bad because the lack of service may have been a workforce availability issue, maybe short-staffed, maybe confusion. But I could not persuade my inner being to reward someone for such lackluster service. Good food and atmosphere for a downtown spot, though.
Came here for our anniversary! And loved it. Lunch was yummy. My drink was very tasty. And service was great!
I walked in to eat and take a few shots. Along came a guy who wouldn't leave me alone. I ordered my shots and food. Yet this guy continues to hit on me even follows me out of the restaurant. So I decided to leave. I asked for my check so I could leave. I generally love big whiskeys. I don't any more because of the restaurant manager. He kicked me out last night and tried to call me a former disgruntled employee. He was rude didn't evaluate or handle the situation well. I'm disappointed in myself for ever stepping foot in that restaurant. I will not be going back.
Love Big Whiskey’s. Spent many years working downtown and it was my favorite lunch spot and happy hour destination. The food, drinks and service are all great.
Great dining experience. The food was good. The waiteress was so nice. Compared to some other restuarants they dont ask you to bring the check which I loved. Some restuarants keep asking you many times in the middle of eating to pish you leave, but here I asked them to bring me the check. Will definitely come back.
I work close by and have gone in on my lunch hour had to wait at least 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me or am told that they will be right back and they go clear off tables and proceed to doing dishes In the kitchen the restaurant was not busy maybe they think a to go order would not get a tip? I have no idea why any customer would be ignored or forgotten if tips were my bread and butter.

Glad we went with here for our first Vaca dinner spot. Hardly any people but the staff was so friendly and made our experience a good one. Food was amazing. Hands down the best ribs we have ever had. Half a slab would of been plenty for one person! Big and meaty, along with perfectly cooked seasoned fries. The Big Whiskey BBQ Burger was fresh and lean. Would definitely come back!
