Just walking in, I could tell this was quality buffet. The service was friendly and fast, the food fresh and delicious. They get bonus points from me for playing Bluey on the TV (even though I think it was just Disney channel) Highly recommended this place!
Great food. Very clean place. I loved that they not only had hand sanitizer out by the buffet lines, but they also had gloves they offered that you could put on, while serving the food onto your plate.The food all tasted great, and other than maybe a teeny bit of gristle on the meat, there really wasn't anything about the food to complain about or have negative criticism towards.Staff was friendly and accommodating, and very attentive as well - often clearing plates from the table as we ate. Would definitely recommend.
One of my favorite stops for a buffet. The food was hot and fresh and who doesn't like a good Mongolian bbq section. I was definitely full when I left
We went for the crab. Every twenty minutes, they put 8 crab legs into its' empty steam tray and told me they cook two crabs at a time. I gave up after a 30-minute wait and decided to have some raw oysters. They were served on a bed of ice, but when I bit into an oyster, it was warmer than room temperature. That means it's been sitting without refrigeration for an extended period of time. Not a good thing. I spit it out. I tried another, with the same result. I left them for the waitress to take away. When she didn't take my plate of 6 uneaten oysters (two that I'd chewed and spit out onto the plate), I told her she could take them away. She summoned the owner (or at least, her boss from the cash register). They questioned me. I said that the oysters weren't chilled, proving that they had been stored improperly and weren't suitable for consumption. After a heated argument from the "boss" they took the plate away because I refused (politely, I might add) to eat them. After finishing my other plate, I went back to the buffet line to check for more oysters in the hope that truly fresh oysters were offered... *MY* OYSTERS WERE ON ICE; I COULD SEE MY OWN TEETH MARKS IN TWO THAT WEREN'T IN THEIR SHELLS, JUST SITTING ON THE ICE. They had obviously dumped my plate back into the serving tray without ceremony. I told my wife, "we're done here. Let's get outta here and go somewhere else if you're not full." We left immediately. I'd call the health department, but how could I prove it? We'll never go back. I wish I had thought to take a picture so I could post it here.
Excellent food and prices. Very clean and they keep the foods stocked so you can get a good variety. Loved the grill where you can make your own stir fry. Great value.Pretty sure we have found our new favorite restaurant in Springfield! Our family of 7 ate lunch for $40! We have children, so I'm sure that factored in, but the adult lunch price is cheaper than most trips to McDonald's.
Buffets doesn't stay stocked on the favorite items of customers. The bring out crawfish/crab every 15-30 min which when you are busy you should bring it more than 15 crab legs or crawfish. That doesn't make happy customers. I will give them another try at a different time of day. Hopefully I have better experience.Waitresses very attentive.2nd visit. Crawfish terrible. Tough meat in tail and of course they only put out enough crab legs for 2-3 people at a time if one person doesn't fix 2 plates. They should have TWO crab leg places on bar. No refill of drinks. Plenty of waiters/waitress around so no excuse to not have refill.
I came here a lot as a kid with my grandma.She always had the best places to go.But my boyfriend had never been so I thought why not.Oh my god they are still as good as ever maybe better. This place never lets me down.
It's a decent buffet. Nothing really special about it. Standard food selection for an Asian-themed buffet. Standard pricing.It's overall just average. If you want that Asian cuisine fix, it'll solve it. Just don't go in expecting former or unique selections.
I can only give 2 stars because they were quick to get my fiance and I seated quickly and the price. However both her and I came down with food poisoning. This occurred almost 2 weeks ago come Friday. Both my fiance and I have strong stomachs, but I faired better than her. She had to go to the hospital because hers was so much worse.
GREAT FOOD AND GREAT STAFF!!! I always drive by this buffet and see the parking lot packed with people no matter what time if day it is. I had heard people say bad things about the cleanliness and quality of the buffet restaurant, so I never tried it for myself. I went in with low expectations, but they really blew me away. The food quantity and quality was perfect! People complain about there not being enough crab legs, but be grateful that you can even get any true crab legs at a buffet for this price. Plus the fact that they can keep crab stock during shortages across the nation says something! The restaurant was clean, the tables were clean, the bathrooms were clean, there service was great, and the food was plentiful. I don't know what else you could ask for from a buffet. A side note to the courteousness of the staff, there was a customer, who because of physical conditions, had a hard time getting his food and one of the workers went out of her way to personally help him get his food and seat him with it. Always good food and great staff!
