We thought we would try Taco Johns since we don't have one near us where we live. The building was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. As for the food we felt it was a little over priced for the portion sizes. Food is not your standard tacos and burritos, they have a little bit of a twist in a good. The food was good and different. We did feel the food was prepared rather sloppy considering we were the only ones there.Bottom line is we would go back as it was good food but not something we would eat on a regular basis.
Yummy food and good staff!! Even when low staffed or extremely busy they make sure your food is hot and it taste good.
Eating here gave me nostalgia. I hale from the city that Taco Johns is headquartered and always loved grabbing some soft shell tacos and some potato olés with nacho cheese when I lived there. I was skeptical at first with this location being so far away from HQ (and me being spoiled by growing up with the flagship restaurants), but the Taco Johns in Poplar Bluff tastes just as great as the ones back West. Stop in and grab a bite! You won’t be disappointed!
I was road tripping out west and decided to give this a shot. Its basically a Taco Bell with some different options but I will say the tater tots and the queso was amazing!
my wife and i stop here every time we go to poplar bluff, the staff always greets us and say's goodbye. what a nice thing to hear, don't hear that much anymore.food comes quick and it's the lowest priced place to eat in my opinion.thanks to all the staff at Taco Johns.
Stale chips, requested some new ones, only getting stale chips again. They were hot, just seems like they just put in the fryer and heat up again. Nice waste of money.
Had the Mango Shrimp Street Tacos. They were great. The sweet tea needs work though, got sick after drinking it.
Just went through and not only got the freshest fast food meal I’ve ever received, cooked perfectly, but also got the sweetest customer service! There were three girls working the windows that could not have been any friendlier
The best taco chain in America, bar-none. The meat and potato burrito is always worth the price of admission.
Wow felt like I was at the old Taco Bell!! No wondering where the beef is here! Tater Tots a little salty but wow to EVERYTHING else we had. Very satisfied!
