Went here with my mom for a nice lunch. (My mom appreciates small mom and papa business) the teenage boy waiter was so sweet and helpful, although we found the manger all over the place and rude to her workers. Such a nice place to eat with good food but management needs some cleaning up!Mom ordered a Patti melt with fried green beans and I got a grilled chicken salad, we enjoyed every bite it was delicious! Definitely Will stop in again for the food, just not for the management.

I loved the Salisbury steak. It was the bomb!My wife had the fish plate, along with one of my daughters. My other daughter had the BBQ. They all said their food was excellent too! Service was great too. Pink lemonade was just like I remembered it when I was a kid. You have made an impression on us and we will be lifelong customers. Thank you for your home cooking and the hospitality!

I know it is known for its bbq but their cheeseburgers were very good. They are steak and shake style. It is definitely off the beaten path. Would definitely come back. Fried cauliflower was awesome too! Larry had a hand dipped chocolate shake. Very good!
Food was very good but for the prices I feel like you should get more food for your buck!
The Pink lemonade was still good but I have never had a worse BBQ! Even with the slaw, the chunks of meat were so dry it was inedible. That meat never saw a BBQ pit!
Okay food. The fish had bones in it. someone should warn the customer, and the pork sandwich looked like it had been sitting out for days and microwaved right before plated. This is what happens when you let teenage children run a restaurant unsupervised. There was no adult manager or supervisor. The teenagers acted very unprofessional, yelling at each, playing practical jokes, never asking the customer if their food is okay or even right. With a manager present, they can make sure that the customer is warned about the bones, and that the customer received the right meal. We did not. We ordered the pork plater, we received a pork sandwhich with old, dried pork and when we asked about it they boldly confessed that it was not what we ordered. However, to make it up to us they offered to give us a side and toast that we would no doubtly have to pay for. This is poor business management and it saddens me because of the good memories that I have as a child. I do not recommend, and I will not be back. A adult manager must be present for me to return or recommend to others.
This place has very poor management the waitress is two busy trying to look cute than do her job for one working around food with her hair all down selling soggy food this place is nothing like it used to be definitely wouldn’t recommend my family or friends to this place period .
