We were really disappointed today. We ordered the basic BBQ on a bun with fries. The fries were ok, what you'd expect. Both sandwiches had greasy buns, and the meat was covered in too much sauce. And I didn't get the shaw on mine, which I ordered.

I’m very disappointed, every single time I’ve came.. I paid $20.01 for a small batch of fries topped with a VERY small portion of pulled pork that was mainly fatty. Asked for my bbq sauce on the side and they charged me an extra 85 cents for that even though it comes with it.. and I had to pay for a side of ranch as well. I called my order in 30 minutes before I came so I could get back to work quickly and I still waited about 34 minutes to get my food that was over priced and honestly mediocre at best. I remember why I haven’t been here in a while. Will not be coming back again.

The food was fantastic the ribs were great along with the coleslaw and french fries that I had I would definitely go back there again I must say you need to get there early because they sell out fast that's just how good the ribs are

I love what me and my boyfriend call Chicken Wednesday. Since Wednesday is the only day you can get Chicken and it's so good.

Normally we love it here and my favorite is the brisket sandwich. But my daughter and I got one and an order of fries each over the weekend and it was HORRIBLE! Nothing but fat…literally. Over $22 for 2 greasy sandwiches of brisket fat and 2 fries! We don’t live in town close to the restaurant, so we were already home several miles out of the city limits. When I called to let them know how our food was, I was left on hold so long that I finally hung up. I guess they have caller ID because they wouldn’t answer again. So so disappointed. I know things happen, but they should have at least tried to make it right with a loyal customer.

World is changing. Ordered a couple plates to go; asked them to put BBQ sauce on my food. Yes for $1.70 per plate. Asked for brisket, they are out. Come in at 7pm, they are open until 8, they act put out. Good way to ruin what was a good business. Charging $1.70 per plate to sauce your BBQ at a BBQ restaurant is ridiculous.

Dexter barbecue is a franchise. I'm not sure where their other stores are but, if you ever run across one I would highly suggest stopping and trying out their food. We ate ribs with sides of coleslaw and fried okra and, it was delicious. A touch pricey but, if you have the money to spend, then do it! You won't be disappointed. They also sell the leftover ribs from the day before at a much discounted price. We bought some and they are just as good! Check them out you won't be disappointed.

Pulled pork was a greasy mess. There was literally a pool of grease on the plate, soaking the fries as well. Everyone in my group had the same issue. This is the second time we've had this problem at this restaurant. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the fries were good (the ones not soaked in grease). I would have told someone on site, but nobody ever bothered to check on us and see how our food was. I won't be coming back.

The young man that took my order in the drive through and then rang me up was so chipper and friendly. Great customer service.

Food was great service was good but $24 for a small side of ribs was a little crazy
