Poor service had to ask for silverware, bread and appetizer then appetizer finally brought to table but then got it about 2 minutes before meal served. Had to ask multiple times for refill of water glass. Ordered medium well on steak got rare waitress did not stay at table long enough to have it sent back for cooking more.Been a few months since ate at this restaurant and now I realize why it has been so long since I went there. Poor quality food and even worse service for price paid.Would not recommend going here if you are picky about food quality or expect decent service.

Sat there for 30 minutes before we got drinks, 45 minutes before they come and tell my son they don’t have what he ordered, then another 30 minutes to get food due to “refire” of his food, yet when we got the food it was all cold.. couldn’t get a refill on my drink either. I will not be going back..

Ate here a couple of years ago. Peanut shells all over floor. Bugs seen. One crawled out from under my wife's steak. Told manage about it. He sarcastically asked it I wanted it replaced, I said the question was whether I would throw the plate against the wall. Walked out. Contacted County Health Department. They acknowledged the problem and refuse to do anything about it. Never again.

Great food, average prices.

I was taught if u have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all. However, the rootbeer and bread pudding were outstanding!! R waitress was fine but seemed a bit stretched. She did great tho.

Have been stopping here as we travel South. We both ordered a bacon wrapped filet. The steaks were medium rare and medium...the medium rare was too rare. The bacon was under cooked....should precook it so it is crispy. The salads were good and the rolls were warm and very good. Our waitress did a nice job. The staff is friendly. Love the peanuts.

Came through Poplar Bluff the last two days on a business trip in the area. Ate at coltons both evenings and was highly pleased. I had a different waitress each evening and both of them were excellent. I wish I would remember their names so I could mention them specifically. Excellent service and the fillet and the salmon was excellent. Highly recommended

I would give Colton’s 5 stars if I always had a good experience, but that’s not the case. However, this evening we are a very very late dinner and I was actually impressed! Food was hot, everything was good, steak was cooked right, and we had a great server! Usually we never have all the great aspects of a great dining experience here, but tonight, we did. Hopefully this is a trend that sticks around! ??

Rotten experience for my birthday. Waited 48 minutes for meal and then several things wrong. Steaks burned, onion not thoroughly breaded or cooked. Only good part was peanuts! I contacted manager, who was very sorry and said would send gift certificate for new birthday meal...still havent gotten anything two weeks later.

Not a huge Colton’s fan overall, but this location always seems well managed with good service and acceptable pricing. Could be the best restaurant in town.
