So everyone knows the cliche stereotypes about Waffle House being the place for drama. I've lived here my whole life and I can tell you that out of every other Waffle House I've been to in the surrounding area I can safely say this is the chillest, nicest, cleanest, most friendly diner you'll have the honor of sitting at. I'd stay away from the one on 5th Street in St. Charles. Took my boyfriend there and he had never been to Waffle House before. I boasted about how great they are, and it's affordable, good food. Whelp that store made me look like a liar because the workers were all fighting and crying and rude to their customers. I haven't been back there since. Needless to say my boyfriend doesn't like Waffle House because of that one experience. Stick to the O'Fallon store. They are legitimately the best!
I am giving my overall experience a 3 star. Service was 5 star, food was... Not my usual experience at waffle house. I have 5 star experiences at waffle houses in general, and this location is really a 4.5 - 5 based on all my previous experiences. I don't want to say it was the cook, but it definitely was the food. Eggs were disgusting and were wet. Like they had been dropped in water and fished out. Bacon was overcooked and super dry. Hashed browns were dry and a little overcooked. To be honest everything of mine and my daughters was overcooked except the waffles. This is the first time I have had this at any waffle house. I will return, hopefully the cook was just having an off day, I can't imagine that was his normal cooking. I will update my review next time I go to this location, I would bet money it will be so much better. I was really surprised about this issue to be honest as I have never had anything but amazing meals from any waffle house location, including this one.
very friendly staff, loved our waitress. food was delicious and very filling. TRY THE BISCUITS AND GRAVY
I know its Waffle House but this was horrible. Sat down to a dirty table and the waitress set our napkins and silverware down then wiped around them. She took my wife's order then left to deliver food then came back and got mine. There were old hashbrowns on the windowsill. When she brought the order there was no gravy on my bowl. Only refilled coffee at the end of the meal even though I put my empty cup at the end of the table. Totally unacceptable cleanliness and service.
I hadn't been here in 20 years and I forgot how fast the service was. The food was excellent and the staff was fun and easy to joke around with.
Always friendly. This is one of my comfort food spots. Nobody beats their hashbrowns!

The cook late night is beautiful and extremely fast. Definitely worth the money and way better than IHop
Whoever’s reading this can you PLEASE DISCONNECT YOUR PHONE?! im just so confused as to why nobody answers the phones but when i drive by to order food else where, your employees are sitting on there lazy as serving absolutely NOBODY. I had a buddy call in one time when WE WERE THE ONLY ONES IN THE BUILDING & low and behold the employee just let the phone ring..?? JUST DISCONNECT THE FN PHONE!!! SAVE YOU $$$ your employees are screwing you
