This was by far the best bang for the buck for lunch for miles around. I had the fish an chips. The fish had a nice beer battered crunch to it and was moist and flaky inside ,the chips were huge and thin cut but had a nice snap to them also ,( I prefer a little more seasoning on mine than what came out but the bartender did rush back and got me a side of buffalo sauce) .I didn't do a beer because I was on my bike or any of the many they have on the rails . From when I walked in and was greeted to looking at the menu to food arriving couldn't have been a whole ten minutes try it you'll like it .
I'm obsessed with their scotch eggs! Seriously I've never had bad food here and I've been several times. The place is very well-kept and clean, you could eat off the bathroom floor (not that I suggest you do) and the staff is so sweet. I feel like we are treated like family when we come. My only complaint is that I don't come here enough. Food is AMAZING, reasonably priced and worth the visit. I will be back :)
Best bar I’ve been to in a long while feels like a Irish cheers new Management is awesome. Shout out to Tim at the bar is a great patron and a kind hearted person. I would highly suggest this location.
Made our way here for the first late on a Sunday evening when looking for an open kitchen. And boy was it! Had an excellent burger on recommendation from a very friendly waitress and the manager came by to make sure we were enjoying everything. Tried it by happenstance but will definitely be returning. They could have groaned about a table coming in at 930 on a Sunday but instead they treated us like family
The food is phenomenal. The new owners are amazing and the staff is extremely attentive.Perfect for a family night out or to watch sports and grab your favorite cold beer. It will instantly become one of your go to spots
There is not one bad thing on the menu. From the fresh cut fries to the steak medallions. It’s all great. Have to try the Scotch Eggs, you will not be disappointed!!!!The atmosphere is always wonderful and the owners have done an amazing job reopening an O’fallon staple!
We have never been to Two Shamrocks and wanted something different. As soon as you walk in there is a sense of warmth. Everyone is welcoming and friendly, almost as if we were guests in their home, not customers coming to order food. The atmosphere is perfect, relaxed, we felt completely at home. We ordered the beef Boursin sandwich with homemade chips, beef medallions with veggies and a baked potato, bacon cheeseburger with fries and the Scot eggs. Let me tell you that when we got home and opened our togo containers the presentation was not what you would expect for togo food. It looked like as if we were eating right there in the restaurant. The portions were perfect, steak was cooked to perfect temperature ( even after the drive home ). The burger absolutely melted in your mouth. The fries and chips are fresh and were cooked just right. The veggies were cooked to the precise amount of crunch without being soggy. Let’s talk about these eggs. We really didn’t know what we were ordering but wanted to try them. These eggs…are freaking fantastic!!! We were a little skeptical, I mean who ever thought of sausage fried with a hard boiled egg in the middle?! There were also perfectly cooked, the yoke was a beautiful yellow, the meat was not greasy at all and it had the perfect crisp to it. We all ended up with food babies after our meals because we ate every bit of it! We will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu! The only regret we have visiting 2 Shamrocks this evening was that we couldn’t stay and enjoy our dinner there. Fantastic job 2 Shamrocks team! You knocked it out of the ballpark!
The food and service was terrible. I honestly have never had corned beef and cabbage that was that bad. It was dry and the potatos were cold. We were halfway done eating our food before the waitress came to check on us in which we told her we were still missing a side that didn't come out until we were done. Definitely not worth the price and will never return.
