Great food, good serviceVery comfortable atmosphereWent two nights, the steak was very moist and plenty of favor and the burger and fries were a great deal price wise and very tasty
1st time. Waitress = terrific. 1bourbon burger, 1chix sand. both good, large portions. Good enough to take home. A bit noisy but a really nice change from fast food.
Excellent food and service. The server was very busy yet she took time to give us a personable visit. She was awesome! The chicken salad sandwich was to die for, wow! The atmosphere was cozy in feel yet vast in space. I would highly recommend Timber Creek.
My husband & I frequently visit. Our nephew, who is in leave from Air Force, was in for weekend & we decided to have family dinner here. Because they can get crowded at times, i called to reserve table for 8. AFTER arriving we were told they would not seat us until our entire party arrived. After several more family members I asked since 5 of us were there if we could be seated so we could order apps. Was then told 75% of our party had to be there & they only hold table for 15 minutes after our reservation time. We took it upon ourselves to sit at the tables reserved for us (no where else to sit). With the other 3 family members in the parking lot, staff took 1 of the tables for another customer. With 5 people out of 8 sitting at the table, no one could even order a glass of water..no one would even wait on us. If I would have been told on the phone the policy, I never would have reserved a table. The 5 of us could have just walked in, ordered drinks & apps. Needless less to say we left & went over to Cracker Barrel. Not sure me & hubby will ever go back which is a shame because we like the food & atmosphere.
Great venue with great service. The food is well prepared and flavorful. I do miss the Duck Wings, but I can not justify giving a 4 star rating for a business decision. 5 stars are well deserved
They seemed understaffed, which is understandable, BUT we went 30 minutes w/o out server checking on us, when we tried to wave her over she would ask us to hang on then never came. The food was slow to come out as well. Again, we are patient and understanding people, but this just seemed to be a mess as far as service. The food was ok. It seemed to be an older crowd as well, not sure if we were just there at the wrong time or day?
Food was delicious. Service was garbage.We were there an hour before food arrived. Waitress basically disappeared. I don't know if she forgot to put the order in or what. When food finally arrived an hour later, no mention of anything or apology for the wait. Never asked how our food was until we were done eating and waiting for the check. Dropped off the check and some other waitress cashed it out for us.The rest of the staff seemed attentive and friendly. Bartender seemed to be taking care of everybody and everybody seemed to be having fun at the bar.Food was great. Good portion size and tasted great. My waitress was young and I don't know if she was new or just lazy. As long as you don't get the same waitress, you should be good?
I try so hard to enjoy this place because the staff seem friendly and the food is amazing. All 3 times I’ve been here I’ve had Talina? That’s what it said on the receipt at least. Older white woman. First time I went there she gave me a dirty look and rolled her eyes when I asked for something a little special. Not like she actually makes it, so what business is it to her. She doesn’t seem to care at all. She either hates working there or haters people. This last time I was there she took absolutely forever to grab beers, kinda looks like she kept forgetting because she’d go to other tables, look over at mine, and then show body language she forgot. It wasn’t a busy night in her section at all. She just doesn’t care what I say. Like if she asks is there anything else I can get you, the n in no and she’s already disappeared from the table. It happened to other people all 3 times as well. I’m just never going to come here again because I don’t want to go out having to wait forever for drinks and feel like a burden to someone who either gates people or hates her job.OTHER THAN THATFood is amazing. You get amazing portions for a good price. The atmosphere there is very warm and friendly. The other staff seem so much nicer. As long as you don’t have her, you’ll have a good time I think.
I took a friend to lunch today at Timber Creek. We had not been there before. My lunch was fine, however, the Reuben she ordered was full of fat and stringy. When she pointed it out to the server he said that was unusual and said he would tell them in the kitchen. He did not offer another Rueben or any other type of alternative. So my friend ate her french fries and picked at one half of the sandwich. When the bill arrived he said they took half off since she had eaten the french fries! I pointed out that the sandwich was not able to be eaten and that we had pointed that out earlier. He went back to management and came back and said they wouldn't charge us. So my friend didn't get lunch and I had invited her out as a treat! Very poor judgement on the management staff of Timber Creek.
Met a friend for "happy hour" and was not disappointed. Cozy neighborhood bar/pub with good variety of food and drink . Quite good service. Good place to drop in and hang out. Lots of big screen televisions to watch all sports.
