We have eaten here before, with very good results. I don't know what has changed, but we had a terrible experience this time. Possible reasons for the change: --All wait staff are different than on previous occasions. --They have changed the system, and now have food runners. That means the person who is taking care of you at the table does not deliver the food. --The food was far below what we have come to expect here. My wife ordered the breakfast burrito. It came pressed like a panini, and raises some question about time from finishing to time of delivery. I ordered the hot mess, which I have had before. It arrived barely warm to cool. --Good service should have resolved this, but our waitress NEVER checked back with us to see how the food was. It is sad to see any business take such a large step backward, especially when you have had a good history with them. It will be a very long time before we return. Da Kupuna

Service was good!! Restaurant was clean!! Great food!! Definitely going to return!! So many delicious choices on the menu, can't wait to visit again!!

Came for Sunday brunch around noon. The wait was about 20 minutes for 4 people. Service was good and the food was excellent - we got the Hot Mess and breakfast burrito, and our friend got the special and enjoyed that. You get your own carafe for coffee. Nice variety of menu items and comfy ambience.

This was my first time visiting The Scrambler House and will probably be my last, unfortunately. I ordered online and went in to pick up at the bar. Good thing I did, because it was absolutely packed at 9:45am on a Sunday. However, I stood at the counter for a good 10 minutes before I was acknowledged by anyone who worked at the restaurant. There were at least 4 employees working behind the counter at the time, plus more on the floor who were coming in and out of the bar area. I was completely ignored; no eye contact, no “I’ll be with you momentarily,” nothing. After 10 minutes, a girl finally came up and said she’d be right with me, and handed me the to-go container that had been sitting on the back counter the entire time I’d been standing there. It’s frustrating as a customer, because I had already paid online, so our entire transaction took about 10 seconds from start to finish. I could have already been home; instead, I stood there getting ignored while my food sat and got cold. Also, I paid for buttered toast and did not receive buttered toast. And I also found a small hair in my omelet :/ It’s too bad because aside from the awful service, the food actually tasted really good. I got the bacon omelet with home fries (hash browns) and white toast. All delicious. I rarely leave poor reviews, but felt that this experience needed to be shared.

We chose the Scrambler House for its wide menu and its dedication to food made fresh with locally sourced ingredients. It’s a popular location, and we could barely find a parking spot at 10 a.m. on a weekday. The meals were tasty, with an excellent range of dishes, from omelets and eggs Benedict to liver and onions...true diner fare in a modern setting. Grits and toast were a little dry, but the coffee was good and served in full pots (both regular and decaf at our table). Service was also attentive, despite the fact that every table was filled.

Outstanding breakfast. Super friendly service. Had the scrambler and biscuits and gravy bfast w eggs and bacon. Reasonable prices too.

The host, Aly was am absolute joy!!! Our service Debbie was a doll!! The food was excellent!! Good portions for the price. The coffee was very good too! We definitely will be going back, probably more closer than when they open than about 2 hours after they open. We waited about 25 minutes. It was definitely worth the wait though!!!

Best pancakes in town! It's so refreshing to find a great breakfast place where the team members truly love where they work and what they do! We had the pleasure of having Debbie as our waitress today and she was fantastic with making sure our food came out fast, hot, and found extra toys to entertain our little one.Plus, the pancakes ... Did I mention how good the pancakes were?

Oh boy, they do breakfast right. From the time you walk in the door to the time you shuffle back out. The food was great and the portions were big. We hardly ever take home food fr breakfast but there was so much and it was so good we had a couple to goes with us. Really liked the breakfast burrito!

Went with a friend for lunch, and tried their 4 egg omelette….fantastic!! Also tried their homemade dessert…equally fantastic!’ Went back today with a different friend for lunch and tried their ulti-burger…no surprise here, fantastic!! Lesson learned, The Scrambler House knows both breakfast and lunch!! Guess I need to go back and see if the know dinner too!!!
