Amazing food from The Crooked Boot! My husband has had the Soft shell crab sandwich. Tonight we had the Lafayette shrimp poboy and the Yah Mon Jerk chicken sammy. From the main dishes to the sides like sweet plantains, fried okra and slaw, you cannot go wrong. They even have Beignets!! Look them up on Campus Dr in St Charles or follow them on Facebook to find their food truck out and about. Don’t stand in line at these nasty chain restaurants…support these outstanding local restaurant owners! ???

I sat in and ordered the Lafayette po'boy for lunch today. It was so good! The Voodoo sauce was perfectly spicy, the bread fresh and chewy, and the blackened shrimp was plentiful. We will definitely be back to try the gumbo, and I'm excited to try the Haitian dishes, too. Thanks for lunch, crew!
The voodoo fries are EVERYTHING!!! Definitely made me happy. If y'all haven't tried them, you are definitely missing out. C'est bon!!!

Food was ok, but customer service was horrible! Ordering $41 of food and we had our hush puppies missing and they had my husband lift up his poboy like we were lying! SMH NEVER AGAIN!!
