Fantastic food. The wings are literally the best in the area. I also like the steak sandwich and the Buffalo chicken sandwich. You can swap the sauce for any wing sauce in on the sandwich.

I am very disappointed with my last visit here. I have been here many times and the service and food has always been phenomenal. My wife and I stopped by to eat lunch on Sunday at 1:30 in the afternoon. We ordered all of our food (appetizer and two entrees) within 5 minutes of sitting down which was nice. About 10 minutes later we received our appetizer (Coconut Shrimp) and it was good. We then waited until about 2:35 for our entrees (We both ordered Ribeye steaks and requested medium rare and two sides). It took about an hour to receive our two steaks. I almost just paid for our appetizer and left, but I didn't because the food is usually amazing and I really wanted it. We literally watched another couple come in and order 10 minutes after us and were leaving as we were getting our food. If that wasn't frustrating enough when we finally did get our steaks they were medium well. To some people it might not be that big of a deal, but when you are paying $38.00 per steak you kind of want it how you want it. I refuse to ever send food back into a kitchen because that is just how I am, but my wife did send hers back and we waited again for another steak (The manager confirmed it was not done right with his flashlight??? that he carries around. Both the waitress and manager told us that the crab cake add-on my wife ordered took an additional 16 minutes to cook. I don't think either one realized it had been an hour). I don't believe there was a rush on this either. When we got her steak she was ready to go so we paid the bill and left. Even though I believe it was most likely our waitresses fault I still gave her a 20% tip because you never really know what happened. I am not the type to send food back, but more the type that just won't go back. So time to move on and find a new place. Hopefully they fix what issues they have going on.

Brass rail is my favorite restaurant. I have never had a bad experience in person or when I order to-go orders through the store directly. Tonight we decided to order through Grubhub and spent over $115. We were missing all ranches we paid for, an entire appetizer of toasted raviolis, I only received half a styrofoam container of chips for the blue cheese chips that cost me $14 which is 50% less than the amount you receive in the restaurant. My burger was completely raw. It’s like they don’t care about orders through third party apps. So disappointed. Why go in person to spend your time if they can’t even put a to go order together through grub hub correctly?
Was going to dine in but Friday night...busy. So ordered to go. Food was made to order fast. Steak sandwich with Cajun fries...good. Fried chicken wrap with house made chips... good. Bbq dinner with Caeser salad...good. French dip with fries...good. To go portions of the main entrees and sides were huge. So delicious. Will be back.
I've lived in O'Fallon for almost 4 years now, but I had never eaten at The Brass Rail until Tuesday night. Great service! Great food! The taste was a little spicy but not too spicy. It was truly an excellent and tasty meal and a wonderful variety! My wife and I spent $70 on 2 meals, including an appetizer platter, tax and tip, but I spent $30 on fast food last night for us two that didn't taste near as good and wasn't nearly as healthy for us. This restaurant has an excellent reputation for helping those in need, especially during the holidays, with no questions asked. You must live in Saint Charles County, however. This place is definitely refreshing and delightful!!!:) ?
Excellent place to eat and drink. I’ve been there loads of time and have to try different items every time cause the food is fantastic!!!!! From appetizers to salads to main courses, this place doesn’t disappoint. Prices are great and service is excellent also! If you get a chance, stop and try EVERYTHING!
Not a bad place to eat. Prices are fairly reasonable (unless you want steak), service was good, so was the food. Has a bar. (Watch out for the booth seating it tends to pull your wallet out of your jeans, but staff stayed open a bit later so I could come and get it.)
