Finally got in ! You kinda have to get there a 4:00 , and not much later, to avoid a wait. This Texas Roadhouse is managed in an excellent manner and the wait staff is outstanding ! As for the food.... Very good blooming onion appetizer tasty. Excellent , fresh salad. My wife got ribeye steak , I ordered prime rib. Both cooked perfectly ! Large portions , took home what was left for a meal the next day. Such a nice well run and friendly restaurant ! Will be going back soon. Also, prices are very reasonable !
To start with we have been coming to this Texas Roadhouse location (O’Fallon Mexico Loop)for years. The steaks were the best we could find in this area. Any conversations we had with friends or family about steaks we highly recommended this location. We’ve had some really exceptional servers. Valerie was one but sadly she moved out of state. We’ve also encountered great managers like Sherry who was more than happy to resolve any issues we had. She wasn’t working the last visit 5/13/2022. This visit we had questions as to why the potato skins had hardly no potato and were no larger than the country fries. We were told by manager Lucas that’s the way they have always done them. (Mind you we’ve frequented this location for years and he said he had been there since September.) They scoop out the nearly all the potato and deep fry the peeling, top with cheese slices and serve with sour cream on the side. My husband told Lucas that we were dissatisfied with that and didn’t want them. We decided to order the entrees and skip the appetizers. We ordered the 14 oz rib-eye and salmon. After we ordered, neither of the two bartenders or the manager would look in our direction. That didn’t change when the meal arrived. The salmon was satisfactory, but the steak lacked any flavor and was tough. We have had poor quality steaks there in the past, but this was the worst yet. Which like I said in the beginning their steaks, at one time were the most tender flavorful in our area.We were very disappointed with the wait staff, manager and food quality. Consumers don’t have to accept poor quality food or uncaring wait staff. We accept the higher prices, but will not accept poor service and cost cutting decisions like trying to substitute fries for potato skins. We will be looking for a new steak restaurant.Even after all of this we still tipped over 20%!

Very nice people. Service - Excellent!Our waitress was great. She was very attentive; even though the restaurant was packed. The manager asked if we were pleased. We were. Food was great! I love their rolls w/cinnamon butter. On the way out the hostess wished us a good night; and "come again"We will. And recommend this establishment to everyone!I
We got there on a Thursday evening around 8pm. Party of 10. Was told it would be 20 min wait. Wound up being 40 mins. We ordered food pretty much right away, and waited over 30 minutes. Waitress did good serving our food, but didn't come back to check on us. When we got ready to leave I had to go find her in order to ask for to-go drinks since we hadn't had refills there, carry out boxes, and the check.

Service was good, not great, but acceptable. My husband's ribs were dry and my chicken was dry as well. Sides were cold. Had to send bar drink back due to lack of alcohol. Disappointing visit. They get two stars because the server did her best with what she was working with.
Came in at 3:30pm on a Friday I was served right away and food is delicious and my drink never ran out ! 5 ⭐️ experience
