Be aware if you order a large salad at lunch time for carryout, you will get a regular size salad. $10 for a regular size salad in a large container. This has happened 4 times in the past few months. Thought this was an Italian restaurant.
We’ve avoided Pasta House for a couple years because of some bad experiences, but we tried to give it another chance but sadly, it’ll be a long time before we come back again (if ever). Table was sticky and everything around us was dusty. Service was very slow and on the inattentive side . The food was disappointing. The salad had brown edges and was limp. The white sauce was milky in consistency and couldn’t even cling to the noodle. The red sauce was okay, but overall less than half of our dishes came out hot. The others were lukewarm at best. I’ve been finished and waiting for my check for the last 15 minutes, but I’m not really sure where my server is so I’ve had ample time to write this review.
I haven't been in a while. They had this pasta with shrimp skewers that was excellent. Rolls were fresh and the salad had lots of artichoke hearts which my gf quite enjoyed. The waitress Layne I believe was sweet and checked on us often. Even the other waitresses checked on us from time to time. My only minor issue would be the room inside the booths. Very small amount of room and the iron bars underneath aren't comfortable. Do yourself a favor and sit at a table. You will be much more comfortable. Great experience overall. One of the best times I've ever had eating at a pasta house. Gonna head back sooner than later!
Last minute we decided to dine here! They seated us even though it was 20 minutes till close. Our waitress, Shelby was super nice and helpful. The food was very good! Great place to stop when you are in the mood for pasta!!
Not as good as it used to be. High prices. This is where my husband and I met for a blind date 37 years ago. We always come back to celebrate. Usually, I tell the server and share our story. This time, our server was slow and kept forgetting things. She didn't bring utensils with the salad. We waited. She forgot our drinks, etc. But that can happen. Salad was still good, but chicken was dry and expensive. We'll still go next year for our 38th, but I hope we'll have a server we can talk to.
CHECK YOUR TO-GO ORDERS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE RESTAURANT! If I could give this a zero I would. Husband's birthday. Ordered party meal online, drove 30 minutes one way to pick up the order - got home and toasted ravioli - his favorite - missing from order. Absolutely no time to drive back to the store and pick them up. So all manager could offer me was store credit. Like I'll be back there again. Am eventually getting the credited to my credit card. I want my tip credited, too. BTW - the party meal is supposed feed four. This is a slim, light-eating 4 people.
Well,The waitress was ok, a little extra tho. If there is such thing as too much energy....it was her. The only real issues I had was she NEVER asked me if i wanted more water where she refilled my husband's tea twice the other was the fried portobello mushrooms were half cooked perfectly and half absolutely raw. When mentioned to her. 2x she said that there have been LOTS of complaints about them being too small so they served bigger ones and the cooks should half cut the big ones in half. Honestly, she should have offered to remake what we had. My husband took the raw ones home and said he will cook them up for his breakfast. I don't think that is the right solution. So he has to go home and finish cooking what YOU should have cooked? NAW! Really not a good time ...should make this 1 star
Thank you for the extra surprise in my Pasta Primavera (hair). I didn't make a big deal, but the manager came over and noticed something was wrong. He offered me a dessert instead of removing the meal from my bill. Thanks Pasta House... won't be seeing you anytime soon.
Not sure what happened but my meal didn't taste anything like the Pasta House I've enjoyed for decades. Pasta con broccoli had no flavor and was barely warm. Server forgot to add the topping to our pizza so my pasta sat in the kitchen while they corrected the pizza. Pizza was blah. I've eaten at this location for years and never had a meal so terrible. This location has really gone downhill. Quality is comparable to Fazolies. Ridiculously overpriced for what you get.
Great experience. We had cheese garlic bread that was delicious. The salad was awesome, as usual. We had two dinners, chicken fettuccini and garlic shrimp scampi on spaghetti noodles. The fettuccini was excellent. The scampi was ok. Good garlic flavor, but just a while lot of plain spaghetti noodles with a little shrimp scampi. Not a lot of flavor. We also had a 1/2 liter of Red Blend wine that was very good, and the quantity was perfect for two of us. It yielded almost 5 glasses of wine.The service was very good. Or wait was fairly attentive, and with the food delivery by other wait staff, we had a server nearby, frequently.One extra was that they gave us two orders of garlic bread. When we said we already got one, the server said, oh well, there is plenty, and left the second plate anyway. We are it! We were only charged for the one we ordered.They were moderately busy but we able to seat us right away. Like I said, service was good. So despite a lot of business, they handled it very well.I do love Pasta House, so a good ranking is probably a given. But I do really recommend this restaurant.
