Same great taste as growing up as a kid in Central Illinois!!!
First time that we ordered pizza here. We got the pan pizza & it was so good! Looking forward to going back & trying their thin crust. Afterward saw that's what they are known for.
Monica's pizza was great. Restaurant and food were good and the waitress was great.
When you go ask for Tammy. She's the best! Pizza is top notch and fresh. It's nice to not have to drive to Illinois for great pizza. Well worth the drive.
I’ve been going to monicals in Bloomington IL since I was a little kid so when we found out there was one in the STL area we were really excited. We’ve had birthday parties at this location and eat there at least every other week. Today, we drove from Chesterfield to Ofallon on icy and snowy roads, dined in, and spent $50 on a single large pizza and toasted raviolis. My 11 year old son went to the counter and asked for a side of French dressing. And the owner “Rex” goes, “I’ll have to charge you for that”. I literally thought he was kidding. He was not. He responded “why would I give you product for free that I pay for?” I thought I’d paid for it when I spent $50 at his restaurant. Guess not. We won’t be back.
Thin crust pizza is delicious, not much sauce, crust not too thin, lots of cheese and sausage. Fast friendly service keeps us coming back.
Just enjoyed a delicious lunch here with friends. Made it a pleaser and had a sandwich and salad. This is the most meat I've ever had on a sandwich anywhere! Definitely will be ordering this again. It was so much meat, I couldn't finish it all!
We had bought two large pizzas and on the deluxe pizza the meat was spoiled and sour and thought it was just the green olives. My husband and son had gotten diarrhea for 2 days from the bad meat. I had called and talked to the manager the next day and she apologized & said she can send a card for 1 pizza and that nobody else had called about the meat being bad. I offered to bring over half the pizza back so she could taste it and she said oh no there’s no need to. A few days later the owner called and wanted to know if my husband & son went to the hospital and I said no they had diarrhea for 2 days from the spoiled meat and he said his lawyer said he can’t credit or replace the pizza because that admits responsibility for my son & husband getting sick from the pizza.. We will NEVER recommend buying pizza from the highway K Monical’s ever again!!! Very bad customer service and obviously poor food storage and prep practices!!!!
Arrived at Monical's O'Fallon today to purchase frozen pizzas. Limit there is five per customer. Have purchased frozen products, under the limit, numerous times in the past. Have dined in numerous times in the past. Today I needed six pizzas. This one time. Six. Cashier, doing her job, advised five was the limit. Manager was asked to allow a purchase of six. Manager Eric Cartman's authority was going to be respected. He would not even approach counter to discuss it. Uttered from the back that five was the limit. I thanked him and placed the six pizzas back in their freezer. Pizza Hut, Domino's, Papa John's, Schnuck's, Dierberg's, 7 Eleven will ALL sell me six pizza's. My money spends anywhere Cartman. Keep your pizzas Cartman. I'm done with Monical's. I'm going to wager a few of those pizzas will still be in the freezer tonight when the doors get locked.
The good news is you won't need to wait for a table because there isn't anyone there. The pizzas are good and they have a lovely thick crust option which I love. It's the $6.50 for a bottle of beer that I found offensive. If you're going to charge that much, perhaps you should list the prices.
