We've been here many times and always loved it. This time was different though. We waited 10-15 minutes after sitting down for the waitress to come to our table. It took almost an hour for the food to come. One pizza was burnt. All of the pizzas had a very thin crust and the toppings slid off. I hope Good News can improve and be the great experience it once was.
Ultra friendly service and great beers. The venue is smaller than the Defiance location, but definitely worth visiting for the great service, friendly staff, and rotating beers. They make their own sourdough pizza, which is also some of the best pizza I have had.

We checked out this place because it was on our pub passport ?. The beer was wonderful (I'm a hazy IPA girl) and they had pizza just as delicious!!! My kids loved it too and my 6 year old got extra attention from Alicia, a wonderful staff member, when he fell off his bar stool (I swear he wasn't drinking). Check this place out you won't be sorry!
Gospel means Good News, and I love the Gospel. With my family packed in the car, we just couldn’t wait for the chance to try this local pint of hope. We took our root beer and pizza to go and were reminded of a very deep and hard theological lesson when we got home. First and foremost, the Good News of the Gospel must first unearth the hidden blackness and darkness of our own sin crusted hearts. It is most unpalatable. Even our tiny sins contaminate the juicy fat and the richness of all that is life and bacon. Indeed, such a scandalous burnt taste deserves to be washed down with a flat soda of rooted herbs or something worse, and then immediately cast into the eternal garbage heap in my kitchen, where neither the gnats nor the worms die. After this and only this, can the black crust of my pizza loving heart find true opportunity for redemption and salvation. I look forward to experiencing my 5 star heaven experience now that my 1 star revelation is over.

I had my wedding here in 11/20/2021 and I cannot say enough about how amazing the space, staff, food, and bar is. The space was homey and beautiful and I will sing your praises until the day I die.
Very nice time. Didn't try any brew. The pizza was very good. We will be back.
