This is the best Mexican restaurant in this area. The Owners are the nicest people you can meet. They are very passionate about giving you the best dining experience possible. The employees are all very courteous and hard working.Love it!!!!
We were told it was a 30-40 minute wait. After that turned into over 2 hours we resorted to McDonalds.
Great atmosphere. Huge menu. Great staff.First time experiencing this restaurant, and was rather impressed with the set up, decor, and service. Took the family they have a nice kids menu. Only downside, they serve Pepsi. 100% Coca-cola person. The menu had tons to choose from and was almost too many to choose from, which is not a bad thing at all.Drink selection was pretty big, and the margarita was one of the best I've had.Ordered the biggest burrito on the menu, and had the most amazing churros for dessert. I believe are filled with dolce de leche and served with a bowl of ice cream!Even the bathrooms were amazing, a very unexpected thing, also strange to comment on when talking about a restaurant, but hey, what can you do.Will definitely comeback and try more menu items.
This is an amazing Mexican Restaurant. By far our favorite in the surrounding St. Louis area. The food is top-notch. Better than Espino's by leaps and bounds. The salsa is great, flavorful but has a small kick. If you want hot, just ask for the hotter salsa. The cheese dip is great. The drinks are also amazing. The service is a little hit and miss, (reason for four stars.) There's a reason this place gets busy on weeknights. Don't try dinner on Friday/Saturday, wait times are excruciatingly long, but that's because people love this place and keep coming back. Last time we went I had the Pineapple Margarits and my wife had a Strawberry Daiquiri. Neither of us were disappointed.
Celebrated our 7yr old birthday on a Friday. Very busy, but multiple staff members checked on us! They put a Sombrero on the birthday boy, sang to him and played the guitar for him and followed with a little cream in his face and dessert! Food is always fresh and hot, good service and decent prices keep us coming back.

This bright and colorfully decorated restaurant was a welcoming sight on a cold ,chilly and icy 24 degree night! We were warmly welcomed at the door by a a cheerful hostess. We were served homemade and warm tortilla chips with a spicy flavorful salsa, as soon as we were seated. So delicious! Our Palomas were refreshing and perfectly blended with a hint of lime. The Margarita's were supersized! We enjoyed a variety of main dishes. The Chili verde was more acidic tasting, than we are accustomed to. It was hard to finish this dish. The Chicken Chimichanga was very tasteful. The melted cheese topped it perfectly and added a smooth dimension to the crispy tortilla. The Beef and Chicken fajitas were enough for 2 people and were seasoned perfectly with onions, peppers and spices. So good served with soft flour tortillas. The Molcajete specialty fajitas were a mixture of shrimp, beef and chicken in a tomato based sauce. It was spicy and flavorful with a nice jalepeno garnish and paired with flour tortillas. Lastly, the Churros and ice cream were the perfect way to end our meal. The four of us shared this plentiful desert that was drizzeled in cinnamon and chocolate sauces. So yummy! Most importantly, the servers were prompt, courteous, clean-cut looking and professional. The restaurant was busy and our service was prompt. I highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic Mexican dishes!

El Meson was one of my favorite Mexican restaurants at the other location on highway 79. This one was just as good with a very nice decor. The food was as good if not slightly better that the other location. The only problem at this time was they were unorganized during the Saturday dinner rush. But, who isn't. I will definitely be back, love that every basket of chips we're warm!
