Disappointing! First time I've ever sent back a pancake. Second one was just as bad... not sure if the batter was off or the cook had issues. The "home" fries were uneatable... Pictures online show real potatoes chunks, pan fried. Nope, these were frozen little cubes (like you find at Wal Mart), deep-fried... way too much. You couldn't even tell they were potatoes.I went with a friend who said this place use to be really good. Not sure what has happened. Prices are higher than other local breakfast places and not near the quality. The parking lot was empty at 9am, now I see why.
I get together with a group here, occasionally, on Tuesdays. We love the food! However, this time we called ahead to let them know we would be there with a group of us, and we were all told that if we were to eat here, then our menu options would be restricted down to 3 items. (That was said after we had already drove there) Since there were so many of us. I'm not quite sure why this time was different than any other time we've came. We will be back, as we love this family owned restaurant. But sad we couldn't eat there today.
We got seated and waited on in a timely manner. My partners home fries were cold asked for a replacement which we got with no argument but was offered no kind of compensation for having to wait and eating most of the rest of the food so it didn’t get cold while waiting for the rest of the meal. I wasn’t please with the coke I got but I didn’t complain just sat it aside and drank coffee. Was not asked if something was wrong with it nor if I would like something different but that was probably due to the waitress not coming back to the table to check on us and there was only two other tables being waited on. The price was a bit ridiculous 3.49 for a scoop of gravy (that’s not homemade) which was also the same price for coffee. 3.19 for a cup of soda that don’t equal a half a can of soda I would hope refills were free but again wouldn’t know cause nobody came back To the table. However the green salsa was very tasty.
I do not recommend. The food was horrible. The Pulled Pork sandwich tasted like microwaved meat drenched in BBQ sauce. Spent way too much money on terrible food. Only giving one star for the fast service. Other than that I would have given zero stars.
6pm dinner. They were out of the first dressing I chose. They were out of the second dressing I chose. They were out of cake for dessert. I ordered (and paid for) Chicken Spedini. What I was served was a flat, dry breaded Chicken breast. It was NOT Chicken Spedini. I paid cash and when I got home and looked at the receipt I saw that I was charged an extra 6% which was not to be charged if paid in cash. I'll never go back.
It's always such good food! Staff is great even when they're short handed.
Excellent breakfast. Great cooks.
My wife went here with her friend, so this is her review. Both dishes were extremely overcooked and the salmon was as dry as can be. While every other restaurant in the area had a 45 minute wait, this place was empty(one other party of 2 were there) and I see why. The quality of their entrees does not support their price range ($35 for 12 oz. strip and $23 for salmon). I(wife) have cooked salmon in the microwave that was way, way better than the salmon from this place. Unfortunately, I don't think this place will last much longer.
A hidden gem. Cajun shrimp, burgers, salad, banana foster cake. Food cooked perfectly. Friendly service
While it was a nice place their add was very misleading. It stated brunch unlimited mimosas. Which I though they ment when you purchase brunch there you get unlimited mimosas on the side..... Far from it, instead you can pay for unlimited mimosas only for 15 dollars a person. Their food was also very expensive for 10 dollars you get 1 pancake, 2 small eggs and either sausage or bacon. Most other places its 3-4 dollars less. While their food was ok it wasn't that good. Strongly do not reccomend.
