Been to Applebees before and hands down this time was the best because of Brandon H. Whenever I come back I will be asking for Brandon every time and everyone should do the same!! He gave great service and has great recommendations to pair foods together. He paired my Quesadilla burger with the impossible patty and he wasn’t wrong it was the best burger I ever had!!!!!
Never in my life have I heard a restaurant refuse to move a small table around next to a booth to fit 2 additional people. Especially when there weren't that many people in there at all. Every single place ALWAYS moves a table for their customers. Not coming back here ever again. Absolutely ridiculous that we all drove out here to have a good time and a small request thats granted everywhere else is refused. Your place was nearly empty and you turn away 8 people without a care in the world. Good job!
I just wanted to give a big kudos to our waitress this evening. We were at the o'fallon hwy k location on Sunday afternoon. We eat out a lot and I worked in restaurants and bars most my life and lately you can barely find average service. Lily was the opposite. She was so polite and attentive, repeated our order to ensure there was no mistakes and she provided quick service. I just wanted to take the time out to say thank you and ensure she gets the recognition she deserves. Thanks Lily!
This 5 star review is for Jamie! He went over and above to ensure my meal was corrected after learning that I was not happy with the quality initially presented to consume. This all occurred on Friday May 20, 2022 late night. I explained to Jamie that I always get the same food, no matter the restaurant and my expectation wasn’t met with the reality of the meal. To make a long story short, this young man understood the issue, empathized (without being patronizing) and genuinely helped to fix the problem. Excellent customer service skills! Excellent management skills. Excellent people skills. He’s a gem and Applebees on highway K is blessed because of his presence. Cudos!
My wife and I love Applebee's and have for years. We sat at the bar because we avoided a 15-20 minute wait for a table. The bartender, Ashley, and waitress, Jennifer, were friendly and gave us great service! Gwen, my wife, ordered an appetizer sampler as her meal, and I ordered a half-rack of baby back ribs with honey barbecue sauce. Yum! ? We were able to watch the St. Louis Cardinals baseball game against the Milwaukee Brewers on the large-screen TV at the bar for a complete and affordable dining and entertainment value! We'll definitely return often for great food and great service at a reasonable price!!!:) ??
I'm disappointed in giving them this 1 star because they are my favorite location. I ordered the Blackened Salmon to go. I've done this many times before. The Salmon was over cooked. It was so dry that I couldn't tell if it was chicken or fish. The bottom or the top of the fish, I don't know I couldn't tell them apart. However it was so hard, the plastic fork and knife couldn't cut it. Needless to say, I trashed the Salmon.
The pasta and cheese sticks was amazing. My husband and I enjoyed them so much. Portions are big, and we enjoyed leftover pasta the next day. The sangria was ok. Our service was excellent!
The waffle fries were amazing. I highly suggest that you try them. My drink however, was more juice than adult beverage. The staff is amazingly friendly. Will be back.
The food was very good, the help was excellent, and we got our drinks and food promptly. The atmosphere was nice, as expected and it was an enjoyable experience. You usually can't go wrong at Applebee's, and both of us were happy we stopped in. Overall, I found it very good and will go back again
When it comes down to the good old neighborhood grill and some wonderful flavors Applebee's is where it's at. It does not matter if I am dining in, picking up my own personal to go or, or delivering an Uber eats order, they come through with quality and in a good time.
