I used to love going here, the food is really good, reasonable price, good rewards app. The past year the staff is always rude, really slow and always forget the sauces I pay for on the app. The sauces are kinda important when ordering chicken strips! Also they have a curbside option that asks for the make and model for your car but then don't take it out to you. Took so many bad experiences before I finally gave a bad review. Really hope these things improve bc this was my favorite place to get food when I first moved here!

The absolute worst Slim Chickens I've ever seen. I've been to this place multiple times and it is never been like this. Appears to me to be poor training and or poor management. There was plenty of help, there was normally two people standing around doing nothing but they seem to be short-handed in the kitchen. A decent manager would move one of those people to the kitchen to help catch up. Food set in the window ready to go and absolutely nobody paid attention to it and got it out to customers when it was still hot. Sometimes the window was full and there was nowhere to put the new food that come up. I know a lot of things are happening now because of lack of employees but this definitely had nothing to do with that. The young man up front taking orders was sticking his finger inside of everyone's cup before you would hand it to them. I know that it was not on purpose but again that is poor training and training in food service. Then he hiked his foot up on the order counter to tie his shoe. Whatever was on the floor is now on that counter.
Ordered through the drive-thru. First mistake was not checking my order. We ordered two dinners with one extra side. Got home- sides were wrong. Did not provide ranch with our side. A lot of wasted money and we were too mad to go back. Gas is expensive and we are about 15-20 minutes away. Pieces of chicken were tiny. Don’t spend your money here unless you want to be disappointed!
Today I had Slim Chickens for the third time since recently moving to the area. The other two visits were fairly good but this one was horrible. It was an online pickup order and the food was cold by the time we got home, a less than five minute drive. I don't feel I've ever received fries this cold anywhere I have ever went. The toast and chicken were better but still didn't seem fresh. I feel the order was possibly made and sat out when the online order came in as opposed to being made and ready at the time they advise you to pick up the order. About half of the food went in the trash. To be fair the other two times I had previously went the food was hot and it was a good experience. I'm not sure we will be taking another chance with Slim Chickens, it's a bit costly for cold food. The attached photo is how much of my meal I threw out. My girlfriend didn't eat much of hers either.
Staff were very nice BUT food was horrid. Have noticed quality of food has dipped dramatically within the last year. Sad, we used to really like it!Might not go back after today. Our order was $56 bucks for food to feed a family of 3. We had to check our order and it had to be corrected twice. None of the food was fresh. The gravy for the chicken was thick and hard. Fries were stale and fried pickles were soggy. The Mac’n’cheese was cold and coagulated… it sat for a WHIlE.
Not impressed! Second time going against my better judgement. First time i went drive thru and food was not hot or fresh. This time i went inside to go hoping to have better luck. NOPE food was ice cold, chicken seemed old and ended up throwing it out. Not going to get me a 3rd time.
My teenage son and I were driving home after a family get together.It was cold, dreary, and snowy.We were just a little hungry.And not impressed.The chicken strips were a little undercooked.The fries didn't taste real fresh either.
Got the wings, they were kind soggy and didn't have any crispness to them at all. Had it be like 10 for 10 maybe I wouldn't be leaving a 1, but its like 15 for 10 wings and BWW is better imo. Disappointing and not likely to try again.
We ordered curbside service. We ordered at 6:38 and the email notification stated the meal would be ready at 6:51. We pulled into the spot at 6:45 and waited for the order. At 7:01, 10 minutes after the order was scheduled to be delivered I entered the store. The food was sitting on the counter. Several employee's were standing around. The store was not overly busy. 1 person was in line ahead of me and the seating area didn't have a large number of people. I explained I ordered curbside service, was asked for my name and the employee pointed at the bag of food. The employee apologized but gave no reason why it wasn't delivered curbside. After getting the food it was obvious it had been sitting on the counter, NOT under a heating element, for several minutes. The food was cold. Fries were stale. The sauce had seeped through the cardboard box and the box was nearly falling apart from the amount of time it sat out - on the counter, unheated. No utensils were provided. The chicken was cold and there were charred bits from the grill in it. I will never be back to this location and I will recommend friends/family avoid it.
