If I could I would give ZERO STARS because that's what they deserve. We had a large group of 22 adults and 20 kids. We called ahead to make sure they could take us and they said it wouldn't be an issue. We arrived at 8:30pm. There were a couple tables of people there when we arrived and one other large group of 10.We had ONE waitress. There were other employees at the front chatting it up and playing on phones and also a few employees at the bar standing around. Our poor waitress was trying to accommodate our group all by herself. We had been there for an hour when we finally got our drinks.We get it. Large group and she's alone but there were other employees not doing anything and she hasn't even taken our food order yet! We tried to be as helpful as we could by each group writing down our own orders, getting our own menus & napkins, etc. FINALLY the food starts to arrive. Other employees are helping her bring it out but no one knows who got what or even WHAT the food is!? What kind of calzone is this? I don't know. ok... What kind of pizza is this? I don't know.There were orders missing and food that ended up getting delivered to the wrong people in our group - it was a complete disaster. None of the people involved in bringing the food out were apologetic. INSTEAD, one girl who was dressed in her full softball uniform said that she KNEW she brought out one of the large missing pizzas insinuating we were lying about it never coming out! When I was explaining I was also missing a pizza she turned her back to me, while I was talking, and walked away shaking her headIt's now 10:30. We just wanted to leave. Instead of taking off the food that didn't come out they made us wait until they made the food and we were expected to pay for it!!!! No one ever said sorry or offered to take anything off our bill - even the food that didn't come! We were literally held hostage waiting.My husband went to talk to the manager and explain why we were upset with the horrible service... employees sitting around while we are all waiting and ONE person is doing all the work. The manager told him to MIND HIS OWN BUSINESS.It was one of the worst dinning experiences I've ever had in my life. Staff was rude, argumentative, and disrespectful. Never again.
The best pizza...period!!! The only place I've found that puts cream cheese on pizza!!!
I love the food; the curbside could use a little better instructions. Ordered for curbside, arrived just after when it was supposed to be done, waited in the curbside pickup spot for over ten minutes before just going in to get food, which by then was barely warm.was told I should have called when I arrived but it does not say that in any of the instructions. Food was still okay, but it is much better when hot. Just know you need to call them when you arrive for curbside pickup.
If you want food poisoning, come here! First of all, we got the meat lovers pizza and the quality was just gross. Seriously, even when I picture it I start to gag. We ordered fried ravioli and over half didn’t have any cheese in them. 4 hours after eating my husband, my children, and myself were puking and running to the restroom. The next morning we took the pizza back to get a refund of $37. The man proceeded to tell us we were liars. We are traveling through & only had snacks the entire day. Not to mention the only thing we were throwing up was the pizza. It was definitely Minskys. Anyway, we got in the car and realized he only gave us $27. Day after and we are exhausted. Goodbye Minskys, you will not be missed.
Call to order a pizza to go.. I called and was placed on hold. After 10 minutes I used another phone to call and was answered placed on hold for a minute the gal return and then took my order. I was still on hold on the 1st phone that I had used call in. I was. I requested to speak to the manager who told me the girls were probably busy up front. Was very funny since I was setting next to the cash register and there was no one there. The store wasn't even 30% full. That kind of service is inexcusable.. I canceled my order and left. I would be interested in hearing from the store owner what he thought of that kind of response. I really like Minsky's but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm not for sure that I want to return!
We stood at the front for almost 10 min before anyone spoke to us, nobody else was there. The girl who did help us was under the impression the guy, who was standing behind the counter since we arrived, had already helped us. When we told her no, we hadn't been helped, she was very kind and apologized. She sat us and our experience was wonderful, as expected. The guy behind the counter continued to just stand there and not be helpful. Then he sat down and ate.
Minksy's is an institution in KC. I have never had a bad experience except at this Liberty location. Orders are always incorrect. Pickup/curbside times are always 2x longer than quoted. This isn't a pandemic staff shortage issue. It's a poor management issue that's gone on for years. I have spoken to the store manager twice. I have spoken to the general manager once. Both ghosted me and never returned emails. I want this location to provide the quality food and service that I get at other locations. What I get is disappointment with every order. No more, I'll drive the extra 20 minutes to Gladstone to know my food will be right and still support a KC company.
Very expensive pizza. I paid $18 for a small pizza, deep dish with 3 items. I also bought a salad and it was reasonably priced. Gave my money to the cashier, but he did not return the change.
Minskys in Liberty took care of me during the Pandemic last year and continues to deliver to me. Today, I had a awesome experience when my Pizzas were delivered by Matt Wright. He was kind, patient and professional. I tipped more than I usually do but the driving conditions were kind of bad. I hope you appreciate Matt as he is an asset to your company.Thank youLanette Middaugh
Curbside pick up, was overlooked. Wasn't seen thought car was empty explained servicer. Pizza wasn't a hot as expected. But over all still happy.
