I heard they had the best Reuben sandwich in the area but when I got it it had almost no sauerkraut. Literally 6 to 8 tiny slivers of it. That's not how you make a Reuben! I feel kinda cheated out of my money because this place was supposed to be better than fast food but I can tell you right now Arby's will actually put sauerkraut on my sandwich and it's cheaper. The meat quality seemed higher here but I seem to have had older meat because it had a nasty aftertaste. Also the tortilla chicken soup had a musty aftertaste. I've had better experiences at fast food joints ...
We were very disappointed today. We waited at least 30 minutes to order and over 30 minutes for our food. We over heard the manager tell another couple that most of their business is Door Dash so those customers take priority over the people actually in the restaurant. Once we got our order, our food was over cooked and not very appetizing. Two of the items were wrong as well. This was the first time back at the location in quite awhile for us. Previously, we really liked it and the customer service was top notch. Needless to say, we won’t be back for awhile.
Terrible service. I understand places are short staffed, but when the manager says “80% of our business is from DoorDash so they have to be prioritized first”, that’s ridiculous. We watched countless DoorDash people come in and out with food while we waited for almost an hour to get our food. That tells me the actual customers in the restaurant do not matter. We will not be back to this location.
Good prices and fast service
Honestly, not super pleased with the club wrap. I came in for dinner last night and left wishing I went somewhere else for a dinner wrap. Near 70% of every bite I took was just tortilla, lettuce and cheese....so much cheese. While I was eating it I started asking myself if this wrap was supposed to come with sauce on it because I didn't get a single bite with sauce; it was very dry and rough to get through. My last 3 bites I finally found the sauce! It tasted delicious but there needed to be more throughout. Overall, I have a hard time recommending this place when the food I received came out subpar. Maybe I came in on a bad work night, but first impressions left much to be desired. Brightside, the sweet tea is amazing! If you get anything from there, just get the sweet tea
The food is consistently wonderful and the service is very good as well. Clean and they have great fountain coke!
Well done. Was very busy during the lunch rush but food did move out fast. My sandwich was a french dip vs my coworker got a cold sub and his came out first. FYI if your in a hurry
This is a great deli that lives up to deli style sandwiches. Here's a picture of my Reuben & Fresh Fruit afterwards. Sorry, it was so good that I forgot to snap pictures before digging in. Kids meals (ham sandwich & turkey sandwich with chips & cookie) & BLTA with potato salad were all fresh and yummy. Try installing the McAllister App & ordering at the table rather than waiting in line. They bring drinks and food quickly. Even though they are busy and maybe a bit understaffed, cooks & wait staff still did a great job. Thanks for a great lunch!
Good sandwiches. Good soup today. I have only been a couple of times but the food has been pretty good no complaints. I guess the only thing is there is like an air of less than enthusiasm, you might say. I like the sandwiches but I can't drink the sweet tea so maybe I would feel differently but it seems like everybody is kind of bummed out to be there to some degree or another. Otherwise, Morrissey was bummed out to but he didn't make sandwiches so four stars.
This was the first time I've ever eaten there. I ordered a hearty salad which was an excellent choice!!!
