This is a fantastic Mexican restaurant. I love that there is a non-pork tamale. The chicken tamale is so good! I personally would love a spicier cheese dip but it does taste good. I love their refried beans. Their regular tacos are a good size and taste great. I think they are the best in Liberty. The chips are fresh. Definately a place you should check out.
Hands down the best Mexican food in the Kansas City area....I was in Heaven. Warm familial atmosphere and workers, fresh and amazing food, fast and friendly service, with great prices!!! I honestly cant say enough about this wonderful hidden gem!!! I love quaint little places like this and I'm so glad my daughter and son in law introduced me to this place ?
my cousin and I tried Macarena's when it first opened was so delicious.. then a few days later my daughter and I stopped for lunch we both got the street tacos and they were so delicious too! I have been back two more times can't wait for my next visit.y'all need to try this place real easy to find it.

My hubs (a NM native) and I have been hoping for a good handheld burrito place in KC forever now. We live close to Liberty, and tried the tacos/burritos a few days ago. I rarely write reviews, but I have woken up every day since thinking about those tacos. The burrito we had this morning was... I don't even have words. We are food people. We love food and we eat at a lot of different places... but this is BY FAR the best Mexican food we've ever had. This place single handedly just ruined my keto diet... And all other Mexican restaurants for me moving forward. ??
ordered last via grubhub. meat was way to salty the rest was bland. the sour cream leaked over everything making it a curdled mess when I opened box. forgot my extra beans and rice. I've been hesitant on trying it for a while. I will not be going back. ended up ordering Wendy's because we just couldn't eat it.
Ordered the steak fajitas combo. It was just ok. Nothing extraordinary about the meal. Usually come away impressed with the food just not this evening.
It may seem unassuming from the outside but don’t sleep on this place. Some of the best Mexican food you can get in the Kansas City Metro. Burritos and nachos are great and their salsa may be the best I’ve had.
