Knowledge Barista (owner especially). Smells fabulous. High quality coffee for cold brew and French press.
Good atmosphere, but horrific WiFi connection. It drops every 10 or so minutes and lags for the other 8. If you’d like to bring your laptop for school, work, etc. - save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
I tired this place for the first time and was disappointed. I got the honey orange lavender latte and I couldn’t taste any of the orange or lavender. The staff wasn’t rude but didn’t go out of there way to be hospitable. Overall for the price and what I got I won’t be going back. There are plenty of better places with better coffee and nicer staff in KC.
Hammerhand is such a great part of the coffee scene in the Northlands. This coffee shop in particular is nice. Coffee is good, it’s bright inside, good amount of seating, accessible parking. All around a good coffee shop.

Stopped by this afternoon, it was a beautiful little coffee shop. Well lit, really nice turquoise color scheme, amazing bathroom, very clean aesthetic that makes for a relaxing, calm environment. Staff was very friendly, the owner was working the counter.The coffee was delicious, they have a lot of specialty coffee. They also serve simple food and have options for plant based/vegan diets!10/10 would recommend.
Hammerhand is my go to spot for meetings or for a quiet place to work when I need out of the office. It's a beautiful space and consistently serves high qualify coffee. The staff is friendly and warm and the food is delicious.
White Chocolate Raspberry Cappuccino did not disappoint!This place was very busy…I preferred the atmosphere of the old shop, but if you like a bright, modern, more noisy coffee shop, try Hammerhand!?
Great place and a really good americano! Still like their old location a little better , but their new place is very pleasant !
