Finally went to this place after having moved to the area last year from Los Angeles.The pros: friendly wait staff, fast service and very reasonable entree prices.The cons: while the food is definitely good, it needs more flavor. It's like they're scared to add salt for some reason. Also, while the entrees are priced well with generous portions, the appetizers are priced INSANELY high. Their soda is also meh. They need to have their soda line flushed and they need to check the expiration dates on their BiBs. It tastes dusty and expired.Overall, it's a good place if you want some Chinese food. Do not get the appetizers unless you're rich and want to burn money.
Not sure how this place has high reviews... Lo main noodles were way over cooked to the point of being so soft they couldn't picked up by chopsticks, also ordered mushrooms in my Mongolian beef only saw 3 slices of them in it. Only thing good was the beef in the Mongolian beef
Best tropical fried rice in town! Good service, very comfortable restaurant.
Master Wok was really good! The service was great, the lunch special prices were a great value and portion sizes didn't leave you hungry. We will be back for sure!
We have favored this family business for a long time. The Independence restaurant was where we would go. Now sadly closed, we came an extra 10 miles to enjoy the Best Lomein Anywhere. Moo Shoo Pork and Generals Chicken yummy!PS. Our son misses the Huge Fish Tank!
Hot, fresh, delicious! We dined in and received fast, friendly service. We ordered Chicken fried rice, Combination fried rice (pictured) and Crab Rangoon. We will definitely return!
The rice was completely mushy. Pretty unhappy and the chicken wasn't cooked properly like it would be in a kung pao chicken dish.
We were very disappointed when the Independence Master Wok closed. However, we are happy to make the extra drive to the Lee's Summit location because of the exceptional quality of personal customer service, freshly prepared food and beautifully welcoming atmosphere. It is rare to find all of this in one restaurant/ business but here with Master Wok such a standard still exists!
It's been awhile since I've eaten here. Still as flavorful as I remember.
We have tried several Chinese restaurants in the Raymore/Belton area and have been disappointed every time until now. Master Wok food was fresh and flavorful. Take out was well packaged and hot. We will be ordering our Chinese food from Master Wok from now on.
