This location probably needs some corporate guidance. 1 hour and 25 minutes in the drive thru on Saturday night. If you are under staffed, then CLOSE EARLY! 40 minutes after ordering, I had my cold fries (sigh) and 3 chicken strips. See the picture for the size of the 3rd strip, which I chose not to eat so I could document my wonderful adventure. I kindly offered some customer service skills to the window clerk who did not bother to apologize for the long wait. Her response was "they are supposed to tell you there's a wait when they take your order". Well by then, my friend, it's TOO LATE to leave the line (second sigh). Might have been worth the wait if I could have tried the limited time Dr Pepper shake but guess what? "We don't have shakes right now" No explanation, they just don't have them. Third and final sigh.

So I wanted to see what all the rage was about and it did not disappoint!!! Best burger ever! I got the triple and it was massive and so so juicy! We went around 9:00 p.m. and it wasn't busy at all! And it seemed like the food was super fresh!!! The picture really doesn't do it justice!I wouldn't get the Dr pepper milkshake again. I had to try it because I guess it's a specialty there, it was okay, but not my thing.

Not worth the hype, first time eating here since they got in town, waited a little over 30 minutes to get my order, get home -all the food was cold. I ordered the chicken strips kids meal and the strips are not edible, the breading is hard and it is very dry, the fries are cold - This 2 year old here cannot eat this , what a waste of money, I spent $37 to feed 5 people which seems to be the going price nowadays but its a waste of money if the food is bad and you have to throw it away- I could gone on about the rest of the order- my burger was salty but no other flavors stood out it - not sure if I will visit again, only went because the kids wanted it.

Not what the hype has made it to be. It was just a burger and fries. The onions were great! Loved the quantitt of ketchup The vanilla malt was good, but nothing that I couldn't get somewhere else....Whataburger...just ehh...?

Food Is Really Good. I got the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit meal. This was really good and they're not stingy with the Bacon either. I also got the Whataburger single with Cheese meal, Whataburger triple with Cheese meal, and an extra large Onion Rings.

So, the taste was definitely GOOD, and would give 4 stars??, however, accuracy was poor, ordered 2 burgers, 1 fry, and 1 onion ring, which is a pretty small order, but fries where not in the bag!!!?? Think I may possibly try it again, and see what my FULL experience is!

It's okay. Not bad, nothing to write home about. The honey bbq chicken sandwich was alright. Tenders were mediocre, sauce was too sweet for my liking (being in Kansas City, where the best BBQ is, it tends to be hard to impress in the BBQ department).Fries were good, reminded me a lot of McDonald's fries, but not as salty. The unsweet tea was actually really good.I'll probably come back, but there are many more burger places I'd rather eat before Whataburger.

Pros:1) Better than the other fast food burger options in KC (aka Wendys, McDonalds, Burger King, etc) for a similar price2) Generally happier employees3) Tasty (enough) burgers, fries, and onion ringsCons:1) Can get busy in KC, because of the lack of burger placesInfo:1) Whataburger tends to heavily mustard their burgers (default is mustard on burgers). I recommend getting light (or no) mustard. 2) Instead of mustard, try the “Creamy Pepper” sauce3) I recommend adding grilled onions to your burgers (rather than raw onions) for free

It's a burger joint but what makes it worth visiting is this: it was very busy but well managed. All the employees were kind and attentive. The food was fresh and delicious and despite being very busy they go through a ton of orders in a decent amount of time. Also, they had someone constantly cleaning tables and keeping the dining area tidy. As soon as someone left the gentleman cleaned the tables and seats and swept the floor to allow for immediate reuse. I've been told that it's overrated, however I think it's everything you'd expect out of a good burger joint.

We arrived in line just before 11:30am and had almost an hour wait before we received our food. Though the order was correct, it was cold, but we didn't have the time to wait around for fresh. That said, what we were served was good. I think they have the best fast food onion rings in the city. The chicken sandwich and bacon cheeseburger were a little above average. Their beverages are ludicrously large to give a perception of value, a common trick in the restaurant industry. I don't feel compelled to return unless I'm craving those onion rings again. Give a local place your business. They'll appreciate it more. Though the servers here are really sweet.
