If you're looking for a nice little stop to grab a drink or shoot some pool, side pockets is a good choice. Great bar service, good drinks, friendly service.
Good place to hang out and shoot pool. You should always get bottled beer as their draft beer is flat - no bubbles, gone flat. Food is pretty good for a pool hall.
Where do I start with this place. Sticky nasty dirty bathroom floors. Place is very dark and depressing looking. Manager doesn't care if they serve rotten food. Waiter went back to show the manager my rotten food but still gave me a bill for it.. No apology at all. Good sucks bad. Blue springs is way better with way better deals.
It was fun playing darts and billiards. I did better at darts than I did in pool. It was a disappointment to get the wings, it was a miscommunication but usually they are excellent. I'll be more clear and explicit next time. The waitresses were nice, but one unfortunately got stiffed by two tables. She wasn't having fun.
Amazing staff that handles league nights efficiently and with etiquette. Most league tables and balls are kept in great condition. Some side tables show some tears in the cloth, but are still more than playable. House cues are some of the best house cues I've ever played with.
This is a Pool Hall/Restaurant/Bar. Family oriented place. 26 pool tables, lots of Electronic Dart Board machines. They even have Pool Tournaments and Dart Tournaments. The food is awesome, the employees are awesome, and the people that come in are awesome. Nice pool table and pool sticks are provided and not wobbly. Kids are welcome under 18 yrs old with supervised adults till 9pm. Then it is 21 and older. Come by and check this place out you will not be disappointed.Oh and if you come in for their lunch you get an hour free pool table time. ?
Without going into detail about our waiter and his horrible customer service ( could've had a bad day) and what seemed to me a preference in who he treated nicely, (to the fact that one of the gentlemen from the other table he was waiting on said.. "I appreciate you" ? to me, as they were leaving)... WEIRD.. but whatever..That doesn't represent the entire place, but that is just my opinion based on how he treated me vs the other 2 tables he was waiting on. But the facts about this place is that the pooltables are off, the atmosphere is dry and slightly unfriendly, and the food is never hot. I could be biased though because I travel from Lee's summit to Lenexa side pockets, just to have a great pool experience with a friendly welcoming vibe, good customer service, and great HOT food, with prompt waiters taking your drink orders and filling you refills before you can finish your first. As well as checking on you as soon as you walk in as well as throughout the entire time. This NEVER happens in Lee's Summit.. for me... I might return because I like to shoot pool avg I live a few miles away, but when I go, I never have expectations of anything more than being able to practice shooting.
Staff is always so nice and always smiling even when they are jam packed and people are being rude because it takes time for the waiters/waitresses to get to everyone when they are so busy but I've never had any complaints on the wait staff
Daddy daughter night.. Becka was a nice hostess. (X-Army girl) fries were great, pool was cheap and fun. Was a fight at the other end of the place, but it was brief, and hey- it's a pool hall! Great music, large place. Will be back.
Our service this past weekend was probably the worst I’ve ever received. The four of us sat at a table & while they were busy we were more than understanding for the delay in service. We ordered a bucket of beer which never came. No problem, we ordered from the bar. When the waitress finally came back around we ordered two appetizers. Eventually one came out & when we asked about the other we were told there were “complications”. Fast forward 40 minutes & still nothing. We asked the waitress to cancel the food because we had to leave. She brings her manager over (Mark) who then proceeded to yell at me & walk away when I was in the middle of responding politely to him. Absolutely unacceptable behavior for any manager of any business but especially customer service. I will never go back.
