Placed an order online for a SINGLE drink AND cookie. The simplest. They marked it as on the shelf. It wasn’t. I was rushed, I did have to come in AND still wait in line.Not only was it NOT on the shelf, but I also received the worst service when I asked about it. They then just gave me a cup and a cookie. There were minimum of 4 people in the prep area and one of them was definitely in charge.Why order online if the staff is gonna say they made it but don’t, just to inconvenience PAYING customers?
I love Panera bagels. The rest is good, but the bagels are the reason I would come. Service is usually friendly too!
Staff was very kind, however, I specifically asked in the “notes” of my catering order to please not divide the pastries by flavor and I needed to have 10 boxes of the mixed pastries as they were all going to different locations. They did not do that and gave me three big boxes of each pastry so I spent 20 minutes dividing them into separate boxes. Maybe there was a different way to explain it, but it was still frustrating.
Whoever owns this - you have amazing staff! I have been in the location several times. Your team at the counters are always so pleasant and helpful. I've also ordered catering for our company several times. Once, I was running behind to pick up my catering and they called just to make sure I was ok.But I had to finally write a great review based on something that happened two weeks ago. It was a cold night and my mother-in-law was staying the evening with us. We decided to order Panera delivery (which we never usually do). When the order arrived, the other "half" of my MIL's you pick two was missing.I called up to the restaurant kind of frustrated (who likes to have part of their order missing?) and the manager of the restaurant went out of his way, literally, to correct the mistake. I don't want to go into all the details of how well he took care of this, but suffice it to say that he made loyal Panera Bread customers out of us. It was the kind of customer service that many companies claim to have, but few rarely demonstrate.Well done!
Always fresh and tasty! Love the broccoli cheddar soup and Frontega chicken sandwich. Today's sandwich was especially good. And you can't beat the cookies!
Went and got a bowl chicken noodle soup yesterday. There was a single noodle and rest just broth. I paid over 6$ for this. When i buy chicken noodle soup i expect there to be chicken and noodles. Drove 20 min back home and went to eat. Nothing. It was horrible. Called for an hour no one answered. I spoke with manager named Brad finally and he said they will make it right. I show up today and the cashier lady was like uhmm. Ok. Extremely Rude. Then she goes to the line where they prepare food and touches her face after touching customers money. Hundreds of peoples money. Probably hasn’t washed hands and gets my soup for me. Another lady working line kept touching her hair and face with gloves on THEN PROCEEDED TO PUT FOOD ON PLATES WITH THE SAME HANDS!! This is only my second time eating at Panera and i have to say they have ruined my experience and i will never be going back. Absolutely disgusting. I have worked in many restaurants and have even taken nutrition classes and i know the correct way a restaurant is suppose to be ran. This place is not ok. They need to get some health inspectors or auditors in here. Management needs to step up game about hygiene. A person working register should ALWAYS wash hands before handling food. There is never an excuse for that. Not an excuse for touching hair and face then preparing food. If i could i wouldn’t even give one star.
Just back from lunch, friend ordered a chocolate croissant, $2.99, looked so good, absolutely no chocolate other than a few thi streaks on the top. The Autumn squash soup was great. cup was enough.
Saturday afternoon, leaving shopping at Walmart, with daughter in Lee's Summit area. Passed the Panera Bread decided to stop to get some soup my favorite. Potato soup, but unfortunately this makes the second panera bread shop that I've hone to, and not serving anymore. What's going on with that? So instead got the creamy chicken & vegetables. Pretty good, I needed a bigger bowl of that soup.Thank you Panera Bread for bringing in a different kind of soup for the winter months.
I'm a Panera frequent customer, and I truly appreciate all the staff. Very seldom is there a mistake with my order, but if there is it's handled very professionally.
The rapid pick-up is not rapid. Waited 15 minutes till after order was supposed to be ready. Then got the text it was ready and it was still not ready for pick up 5 minutes after the text.
