Every time me and the wife come here it’s super quick service. Great food fair prices and just overall a chill spot
Went in a little past peak hours to get 2 pizzas and a salad to go. I had to call twice to place my Togo order because they forgot us the first time while on a long hold. When we arrived the two people at the counter ignored me for about 5 minutes as they closed out tills. The place was deserted on a Friday night at 9pm. Not the best sign. Pizza took a long time but was fresh and hot. Salad was very average with wilted lettuce and missing ingredients listed on the menu and missing the bread. Likely won’t be back. Very average experience.

This was our 3rd time getting a pizza with no toppings! $42 for 2 pizzas with less on them than a 2 for $10 at Little Caesars.
We ordered a pizza for takeout and the pizza was great. But we arrived on time for the pizza and still had to wait another 20 minutes for it to be ready. The restaurant was virtually empty and no one was at the front counter when we walked in. I'm pretty sure they didn't start the order until we arrive to pick it up. We were very disappointed in the Lee's Summit location.
This place is severely understaffed. So my rating is based on that. When we went on a Wednesday evening there were 5 tables that were being served. We waited 10 minutes for the one employee who was actually working to bus a table to seat us. Meanwhile the bar tender was goofing off with a friend. Another employee was wandering around. We finally got seated and get our drinks. Twenty minutes later I walked out after reading all the bad reviews. Which I had time to read while not getting served. I left $5 bucks for our drinks and called it good.
This place is miserable! The interior is nice, but the attitudes of the employees drags this place down. They act like they couldn’t care less about working, are not friendly, and spend more time on their phones than helping customers. We ordered cheesy bread sticks…they were rock hard. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza…they couldn’t even cover the center of the pizza with toppings (see photo). The pizza is all undercooked dough! If I were the owner, and this was the product my employees served, I’d be embarrassed. Not only was the food terrible, but it took an excessive amount of time to prepare. There were only two other tables occupied so I know they couldn’t have been terribly busy. Go to Fun House, Pizza Hut, anywhere instead…at least they care.
Some of the best pizza and wings you'll ever find. If you like meat, try the Prime Cut pizza; it's my favorite pizza on the planet. Our family also really likes the BBQ Chicken pizza but really all their gourmet varieties are great. They even have an optional cauliflower crust.
I'm giving 2 stars because our pizza is being replaced but initially I wouldn't have given even one. Ive never eaten a Minsky's pizza and my husband said it was a pizzeria I shouldn't skip so I ordered the Chicken Cordon Blue and when it arrived it was old and cold. It wasn't just cold from not being delivered quick enough. Delivery was approx 35-40 min from the time I ordered, this pizza was old. Manager was out making deliveries so I couldn't get my pizza replaced right away so by the time I was able I had been an hour and a half or more before I could even get a pizza reordered. I won't go through this again. I wish my first experience would have been better. It's a no from now on with Minsky's.UPDATE: Second pizza took an hour to be delivered. It was also cold. A little less over cooked but I would never spend this much money on a single pizzathat tastes like this! You got me Minsky's!
ordered the primecut..Pizza was “luke warm” half of the bacon didn’t seem fully cooked either. When I picked up my order the girl at the register brought my pizza out using only one hand to carry it and she carried it slanted..so, if it was actually fresh, then all of my toppings would’ve been everywhere!! Had to reheat pizza at home and it ended up making our stomachs hurt! Each time I give this particular minskys another chance, they seem to get worse! Last time eating at this location until they can provide a better product and service to their guests.
