Great service!
I made a reservation through OpenTable for 6 @ 715pm on a Monday. Host staff was a little surly and eventually my party was seated at 750pm (35 minute wait even with a reservation). Food was great and the service was better than average but the reservation experience kind of ruined it for me.
3rd time we have been. Always when family is coming in from another state. We always take them to Jack's, even though we live in Warrensburg. We love the energy, and the staff. It is the best place ever!
Our first time in the Kansas City area so we wanted to try a local KC BBQ restaurant. We were VERY pleased. The BBQ was spot on, the portion perfect and the sides, the cole slaw and hickory pit beans) were delicious. We finished with a piece of carrot cake which was EXCELLENT. Itâs a must go to in KC for travelers or locals. Weâll be back.
Went with 5 people and had a variety of things ordered (burnt ends sandwiches, ribs, etc). Everything was great, as always!
Amanda was our server and she was fantastic, the best service ever. Food was also fantastic!

The burnt ends were complete fat. The waiter brought me two additional to replace some of the fat pieces, and those werenât even ends. They were chucks of center cut meat.
Always a delicious meal. And thank you for accommodating us with our wheelchairâ¦
The U-shaped tables are absolutely awful. They are not conducive to visiting with the other people at the table and the people sitting in the middle are awkwardly facing other diners and trying not to stare at them while theyâre trying to enjoy a meal out as well.
