Not the greatest experience. Ordered fajitas, a steak burrito and chicken fingers for my kids. I asked for no steak on the fajitas as I don't eat red meat.I watched 2 more tables get seated after us get served and complete their meal AND PAY before ours was even brought out. My kids were starving. When the food finally came out the fajitas weren't even sizzling ( every other plate of fajitas that had come out while we were waiting had the very appetizing sizzle I would expect) and barely hot and still had steak on them. The waiter didn't even notice and sped away. I was too hungry to deal with sending it back.We don't eat out much now due to COVID and this was our first outting in over a month. I hoped for more and left pretty unsatisfied.I can only assume they were understaffed as the waiter was pretty frazzled.

Ordered carry out on April 25th. It was taco Monday, so we picked some up for the whole family. While eating one of the chicken tacos, I felt something tough and pointy. After taking it out, I noticed it was a broken piece of a toothpick. Not sure if I got all of it or accidently ate the rest. Regardless, completely and totally unacceptable. I threw out the remainder of the tacos immediately. Thankfully, I picked this one out and didn't feed it to my children.Overall, their food has been very good, but we will personally not be ordering from here any longer. I highly recommend checking your food, If you do decide to dine here.
We decided to give this restaurant another try after trying it when it first opened and not liking it. They definitely have changed some things. The food was awesome and service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and fast. I would only recommend shortening the menu. Too many options. I will definitely be going back.
We were in the area and chose this place based on the reviews on Google. Even on a busy Friday night we were seated immediately. The waiter came right over and surprised us when he brought White Caso to go with our chips and salsa. The menu is huge. Everything from deep fried tacos, burritos and combo platter standards to fine dining specialties. Drinks came out within a minute. Food came out incredibly fast, piping hot and was amazing and reasonably priced to boot. I must admit that I saw a few reviews about bad service, but I thought they were probably one of the most efficient wait staffs I've ever seen. I live 45 minutes away from El Potro, but I think it's thoroughly both the trip.
Wow El Potro USE to have great considerate customer service. Not sure what happened. Was put on hold for 10 minutes to place a To Go order. No one ever came back on to do that. Heard lots of other conversations going on. Went to Taco Bell. Was pretty awesome service and food for tacos at LS
This place is not only a great place to eat..just enjoyed everything about our experience. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable..the building itself was beautiful. Just excellent all the way around. Will be returning..our go to is usual is ON THE BORDER..we believe this will be on our go to list also!!! Recommend to all who hasn't got the chance to stop in and try them...you won't be dissapointed!!!
First time coming here, sat in the outdoor patio. It was a beautiful day! Mainly came to enjoy cocktails and conversation with our friends. Service was excellent, thank you Roberto! My drink of choice today was a Michelada with Corona. I must say this was the best Michelada I have ever had. Finally worked up an appetite and had some crispy ? ?? tacos with refried beans and rice. Very tasty. Your visit could be different, but I think you'll enjoy this place. It's located in a nice and safe area.
What a HUGE disappointment! Not good enough to even give it a second chance.My wife & friends went to the one at the Legends & brought home leftovers that were amazing.Our food this day was sad. Shrimp with soggy breading and a chimchanga that must have been related to the ocean it was so salt.Kid's food was good, so we've got that going for us....
Good any time! Best/only dine-in breakfast place in the area we've found. The food is terrific! Generous portions and we're obsessed with their chips and salsa.
