Food was good but they took forever to seat us. When someone finally came up to seat us they said it would be 10 mins before they could seat us cause they needed to clear off the table. There was over 10 tables that were empty. Our waitress brought out drinks and didn't have mine. Food was good tho.
Horrible experience. First we were standing at the door for about 8 minutes before someone even came to seat us. They take us (4 adults 2 children) to 2 tables. She was going to put them together. One of the table legs was broken but she was still going to seat us there. Then she got mad when 1 of us asked to sit at the booth. She said, "Well that's not my section and I was trying to keep all my tables together. The booth table was dirty. We had to ask for a cloth to clean it. We got our food, 3 of them sirloin steaks 3 medium. We received 1 extra well done, 1 well, 1 medium rare. We never received a refill on our drinks. I had drank my drink before our food even came. Horrible service. I will never go back.
We walked in tonight and the entire restaurant smelled. There were only a few people sitting at the tables, but my wife and I saw at least 10 tables that were not cleaned and had old food on them. The bartender, host, and a member from the cook staff were leaning on the bar talking and no one made any effort to clean. We waited a few minutes and decided to leave. If the front of the restaurant looked that bad who knew what the kitchen looked like. Was one of our favorite places to go, but it has been going downhill and today was the what did us in. Hope they can get back on track one day, but we will not be going to this location for a long time.
Really horrible experience slow service,food was overcooked and cold, didn't care much for the staff's attire c'mon you have to do better

Bad food, service, and expensive. Been there a few times and it just gets worse. I ordered the chicken and broccoli alfredo. It came barely warm and noodles were dry. I sent it back to get hot. They dumped more sauce on top. I didnt pay for it.
Most inept staff I have ever seen. The bartender, the manager, the servers….everyone, is clueless here! More people standing around than actually doing anything. I’ve never seen a collective group of people move so incredibly slow! Currently 6 people at the bar without drinks and 10 without food. In addition, 15 people hanging out by the door and no one has greeted them yet. “CRAPPLEBEES ON A DATE NIGHT!”
Me and my friends had very bad experience yesterday night. We have been a regular customer here and every time we tip the waiter/waitress who serves us food.Yesterday night me and my friends were in a bad time and we just wanted to have good time in apple bees.We went and sat near bar and if I am correct the lady name is Kate standing in the bar yesterday night..the bill was around $59 and I gave $60 and we came out without tip for the first time as we had less money with us.As soon as we exit Applebees the lady comes running out of the other door and says “she took care of us really nice and we did not tip her and next time we should not come there if she is the one in bar and she will not serve us as we didn’t tip her the last time we went too”. What was that behaviour?? Hey Kate for your information it was our first time with u in apple bees..You have clearly mistaken us with some other group of people coming to Applebees and she is telling we never tip her. As a sign of humanity serving food is more important than asking for tips..I promise on god that it was my first time I did not tip..I have given a lot of tips and my highest tip was $30.we are students and we still tip more than normal people.A message to apple bees manager of lees summit Douglas street branch-“ Am never going to come to this Applebees and you did not loose one customer but you actually lost 9 customers who comes Atleast once a week.You can check the camera on Monday (December 13,2021) and we were the last customer I guess as we came out of Applebees by 10:50pm and Kate came running out to tell us what she wanted to.kindly tell her if she had done this kind of behaviour with American citizens ,she could have been in danger.She is just making a loss to Applebees”.We like Emily and Victoria because they are really good at their work and they never told anything on tips to us because we do give tips to them as most of the time they will be there when we go.
Great place. Service was a little slow but it just seems like they were understaffed which is fine. Would have given a lower rating but thankfully they were out of bees this time. I was only served apples.
I had an amazing time here at this restaurant. Customer service was exceptional,very courteous and suggested some great menu items. The food was great and extremely reasonable prices for the quality!
