A new gem in Lee’s Summit with amazing coffee and a super sweet staff. Plus they have a drive thru!!! We can’t wait to visit again!
Really excellent coffee and incredible staff. Ahadu has quickly become one of my favorite coffee shops/roasters in the Kansas City area. If you nerd out on coffee/roasting, chat with the owner Teddy sometime too. He’s a really great guy and knows a ton about coffee ?
A truly wonderful, friendly, clean, and amazing experience! Coffee beverages NOT over flavored by flavoring syrups---they want us to taste the coffee. On-premisis coffee roasting and their hand-roasted coffee is GOOD. Bakery and kitchen items are delicious and match the coffee in terms of quality and excellence. A wonderful environment that is inviting (and rewarding). This is a memorable establishment that we will return to. Again and again.
The best coffee in the KC area! Not only is the coffee extraordinary, the blueberry muffins are too! The place is very clean and the owner (Teddy) and the other employees are super kind. The coffee is fresh and roasted in a Turkish roaster in house. A+
Very good coffees that are roasted in house. Owner roasts in house and understands his coffees. Roaster on display in main sitting area is a work of art itself.Staff very friendly and owner took the time to show his roaster and explain his coffees. Nice quiet cozy setting for some of the best tasting coffee around!!Had kid friendly drinks/shakes so kids felt part of the AM coffee experience!
Absolutely love this place! The staff are kind and the coffee is the best I've had in the area so far. The drive thru is a plus+
I stopped into Ahadu's drive-thru looking for an afternoon pick-me-up and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a 16 oz iced latte breve w/ extra espresso (which is 2 shots according to the menu) and sugar free vanilla. The espresso was so smooth and flavorful. There was a hint of vanilla which I appreciated, because I'm not too big on sweet coffee. But this coffee was not bitter or unpleasant in any way so you honestly don't need a bunch of add-ins. If I am in the area again I will definitely stop by.

This coffee tastes amazing!! Mr Teddy is so friendly and helpful. I will return for the Saturday crepes. The drip coffee sample was flavorful and rich. Today, i had the cold brew with Irish creme. Very flavorful and not too sweet i can still tastes the notes of the coffee through the Irish Creme.
Best place to get coffee or tea. Teddy and his staff are wonderful. Great environment!! Teddy will work to make the perfect drink for you. Just ask. He just got his on coffee roaster too so will be roasting his own beans from Ethiopia. Go buy a cup or a bag of your very own coffee beans from Ethiopia.
