Loved the goat meat with rice. Spices very unique to my taste. Enjoyed the subtle flavors. This is a hole in the wall kind of place so go for the culinary surprises.
It's a very good restaurant in Kansas City, Missouri and it's hard to find any African delicious food. One little issue was that they didn't have coffee. The tea was awful.
I don't really like the location of this restaurant but the food was amazing! Prices are affordable and portions are so generous that you can have enough for at least 2 meals(if you order 1 portion for yourself). I didn't like the mango juice as it felt watered down but other than that the tea and the food were phenomenal. We went as a group and ordered the fish, lamb, goat and chicken suqaar. My favourite part? The green sauce that came with the food.
Don't think just go for their Perfect Biryani.
Beat place for East African food! Loved in Uganda for a little bit and the food is exactly like how it was there! It’s a low key local eats place huge portions for a reasonable price.Atmosphere and decor is kind of minimal but the food is truly authentic.
Great counter serve food. Friendly staff. The food is not overly hot but has great flavor from herbs and spices. The lentil soup is fantastic. I had the chicken and got to taste the steak. Both were great. The chai was one of the best I’ve had.
Young guy that works in the kitchen and counter is really great very patient. Food is proper East Africa.
Please update your status.I drove all the way and it was closed.
Literally crying of disappointment I drove 30 minutes to have to go eat Jamaican food cause it was all cold. I definitely threw it away
