Geez. Came out for trivia night and the service was horrible. The server couldn’t even crack a smile or take order and bring a drink to us under 15 minutes without being asked several times for the same beer over and over. It was not packed due to hot country nights. I won’t be back.
Fair beer selection. With the name alehouse, I'd expect more, but not too bad of a selection. Came here with friends for quick bite, beer before an event. Food marginal at best, pretty bad actually. Blackened chicken nachos came out cool, 15 minutes before my friend's food ever saw the light of day. Nachos totally cold in 3 minutes. Chicken looked poached, no seasoning at all, no grill marks, quite pale and nondescript, certainly not blackened. Came out on tray with paper lining, got soggy, tore and came off with food. Paper tasted better than the food. Service was beyond pathetic, had to get my own napkins, utensils.
Our big conference group (at least 40 people) came in last minute due to a mechanical error closing the restaurant we had originally planned to have our event (only one hour before the event!) We enjoyed playing music bingo and food was delicious. It was only $7 during Happy Hour for my chicken tender meal. Drinks were well made.
Had the mad hatter area in VIP reserved for a birthday party. The bottle service was great and the wait staff were very nice and helpful. One of the members of our party went outside to get some air, and was refused re-entry by security. He was probably hammered so that's not terrible I guess. But he was upset at being refused re-entry for no reason.Later that same night, security came into the VIP are and attempted to shake one of the party members that had too much to drink and was resting her head. This unnecessary physical interaction was followed by the remainder of the party being forcibly removed from the location by security. All of this could have been avoided if security had any people skills, or would have simply communicated effectively. Unfortunately it's clear that they do not care for their customers or their customers safety. After spending $700 I would have expected to be treated with some respect. For these reasons I will not be returning, and I would recommend everyone take their business elsewhere.Very disappointed with this experience
Definitely a young place. No adequate seating. Check before you pay the cover. Good music though.
Last night the bartender refused to serve two of my black friends telling them that she “doesn’t serve n*****rs.” She proceeded with asking the security guard to throw them out. SHE DENIED THEM SERVICE BASED ON THEIR SKIN COLOR!!!!!!! My friend reported this to the manager who said “are you sure this happened? Because this doesn’t sound like her.” WHAT IN THE WORLD GUYS!!!!!!!!
BUY MORE AND SEPARATE STOOLS FOR YOUR VIP. Instead of kicking PAYING CUSTOMERS WHO ARE SITTING AND DRINKING AT THE BAR! WORSE SERVICE, TRAIN STAFF COMMUNICATION, TRAIN OWNER MONEY MANAGEMENT TO PURCHASE EXTRA STOOLS!
Friends and I wanted go to Ale House for the Chiefs game. We didn’t end up going. They wanted go charge $20 per person!!! Ridiculous for the cover charge. We ended up at PNL and got in for free!
I ordered a side salad that was big enough for a meal. It was fresh and delicious with corn bread croutons. There were LOTS of cucumbers which were not listed on the menu I (#allergygirl) picked them out one by one! Worth it but be aware if you don’t like them. I also had the green Chile chicken tacos. Wow! Delicious
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First of all I waited in line for two hours only to watch the “securities” friends to be let in before me with just two minutes of arrival. Second of all, they charged me $40 after the person in front of me was charged $20. When I asked why they said the GM said that would be the price because chiefs players were there. There were no chiefs players. Only people wearing chiefs jerseys. Great experience guys! Don’t waste your time or money here.
