Food was pretty good I'd say price is just right for what you get. They were out of Coca Cola but he went back and got us cans to pour over ice rather than making us choose something else which was super nice.
Food was hot and fresh but I waited for over thirty minutes for food. The food tasted good but I wasn't impressed with it. The market grill that was there before was better and priced a lot better. I was expecting better with the Wahlburger name.
I ordered the super melt burger medium well and tater tots. The burger was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, the tots were perfect and the portions for both were plentiful. I was stuffed !I read some bad reviews and that's unfortunate but my experience was great, the cashier was very friendly and the cook actually asked me for clarification about no pickles. The whole process only took about 10-15 minutes. I will be back. Satisfied customer !
Not much merchandise on the shelves, but I only went in to take pictures for my daughter and her BFF. I bought them concert tickets for NKOTB for May 13 in Nashville.
Celiac and love that I can get a buyer with a bunch. I can even get fries or tots. There are actually choices for me. Everything I've gotten so far has been quite tasty also.
I read the reviews and gotta say, my experience was not like others thankfully.I had a delicious and good portioned burger that was cooked just as I asked "medium well".The flavor was great and the tots were a perfect combo.I'm gonna need to try the other locations to make sure that I get consistent quality, but either way, I'd come back!
Very disappointed bringing my family here whose visiting from Maryland & Tennessee. We have been to the independent restaurant in Kansas a few times & loved it. This location in the Hy Vee store lacks the atmosphere that the actual restaurant themselves have. You have to order your food cafeteria style outside the restaurant & then the cashier that took your order will bring out your food, eventually if u wait long enough. In our case the food came out sporadically over 30 min & then about 15 min after our burgers were finished our appetizers showed up. The only highlight was the amazing cashier & server that was so pleasant & apologetic. She was doing way more then I person should be expected to do & kept a smile on her face & was just very nice. I do not remember her name but she did say she was in the military & was working on Tuesday when we came in at 5pm . She deserves a raise for her patience & remarkable work ethic as she was cashier, server, busser for tables & more I'm sure. Sadly this contract w HyVee & Whalburgers is a huge fail. Marketside was better bc u didn't have high expectations bc of it being such a good free standing restaurant & being connected to the Whalburgers name. Reading other reviews it looks like Whalburgers needs to address this quickly or its going to hurt their reputation & business at the free standing restaurants bc after this visit I don't want to return to a Whalburgers anytime soon
This is first time having a Wahlburger, OMG this was beyond great. The hamburger was juicy, the lettuce and tomato were fresh, not coming out of a plastic bag. The onion rings were not like any I’ve ever had, so good. I will definitely be going back and bringing my family and friends.
Very poor customer service. Took me over an hour to speak to a manager, was told countless times by employees they didn't know how to do something and have wasted so much of my time just to get them to do the right thing. Which they still haven't. I completely give up and will never step foot in another Hy-Vee that is how disgusted I am with their customer service and management team. But at least (as I was told by the store director) they will use my experience for a training tool. Glad I could help train your employees. Where is my compensation for developing this portion of your training??? SMH
Not worth the money or time for one of the most bland burgers. Also may want to follow order instructions better because of allergies or what people didn't order.Trained staff would help
