The food was very good. Had a great time but was not told when we made reservations that they no longer do the sushi bar or miso soup. They had soup but it wasn't gluten free. Nothing is guaranteed gluten free and still had to wait almost 30-45 after getting there for our reservation.
Went with my husband, son, and his family, including 4-year-old, for my birthday. We all loved it. Great food with child's menu. Great entertainment except firing up grill scared the little one for a second. Great hospitality.
We went here for Easter and honestly the waitress freaked me out. She told my mother it was good to see her again and she remembered us from last Easter. Um lady, we weren't here for last Easter. The food was pretty bland and not really worth the price. Some shrimp weren't even deveined so that's a food safety issue. The chef just rushed through cooking and the food suffered for it. There was a Hispanic couple across the table from us with a little girl. The man was telling his wife they would have been better off at Red Lobster down the road. Honestly, I think I would have been happier elsewhere too. Also, anyone with a cherry allergy DO NOT order a Pepsi. I have a cherry allergy and ordered a Pepsi to drink. Cherry is not an ingredient to plain Pepsi. Yet one sip and all I tasted was cherry, as if they dumped a bottle of grenadine in it. We thought they put cherry in it but the same waitress said that was the only Pepsi they had.
I would rate this place 3.5 stars. The food is good. But I made my first visit here at least 15 years ago. I don't think the place has changed since then. Meaning it's old, dingy and not the cleanest restaurant. They are no longer serving sushi and the cocktails offered need a refresh. Mostly premixed, sweet drinks.
I was actually surprised by the lack of flavor. When it comes to Japanese food you expect garlic and ginger at least but surprisingly not even a hint of garlic. The steak wasn't bad but was on the dry side. The vegetables were overpowered by caramelized onion which tasted more like a steakhouse blend. The zucchini was over cooked to the point it was mushy. The noodles were definitely a no go as the had a burnt taste. I'm not sure if the grill is old and needs deep cleaned or what but it definitely wasn't what hibachi should taste like. The salad was crisp and fresh however the house dressing was definitely mayo based unlike the traditional Ginger dressing. I was a bit surprised by noodles being in the broth soup, it wasn't bad but a little off on flavor. The customer service was fantastic and they paid attention to the drinks. I was quite disappointed by the fried rice as it was really missing the garlic.
Wonderful dinner out with family & friends ( all adults ). This is a favorite place to go for celebrations. Food was cooked perfectly and the whole experience was fun and memorable. We will be returning. We did have to wait 35 min after our reservation to be seated and felt rushed once we got all of our food, but it was still a good experience.
We were a family of 6 with 2 kids.. we enjoyed the ?? flames and everything cooked right at our table.. very well done and the customer service is fine.
My family ate here for my birthday. Everyone thought their food was delicious! It's such a fun atmosphere. My kids really enjoyed watching them cook the food in front of us. The restaurant was busy, which kept the entire staff busy, but everyone was very friendly and attentive! They even took our family photo and printed it out to put in a birthday card.
Came here on a Friday night at 8 pm. The restaurant had more tables empty than full. We were told that they only took reservations and did not take walk ins. We have been here multiple times before and never had a reservation. I did notice that the hostess was looking at me not wearing a mask which is why I think we were not served. I would be perfectly fine with that but there was no one else in the restaurant, either waiting or seated, that I saw with a mask besides the staff. I will not be coming back to this place
In general the place was a bit dirty, the food was over sauced and cooked at too high a temp making it dry. The chef was over all a bit sloppy with everything he did.Keep in mind I travel a lot and everywhere I go I make it a point to get hibachi. I've been to dozens or Japanese steakhouses with hibachi service and unfortunately this one just was not firing on all cylinders. The rice was good....except for the egg shell.
