This place sucks. I’ve been kicked out 4 times now for no reason. They over charge me and kick me out 3 hours later. Kicked my friend and boyfriend out because they didn’t like his pants? Worst place to go to. I highly don’t recommend
Staff is amazing, drinks are great, and always good music. One of my favorite places to go dancing!

It was alright not my favorite spot, bouncer over charged and when it was brought to his attention he made it straight, but another bar staff came up and asked if we paid...that was shady
This place has been my "go-to" when I first started exploring KC as I first moved to Kansas City, that was in 2019. It is now 2022, I do not have to constantly go there for the staff to recognize me, they will listen to you when it comes to ordering drinks, music requests, and my favorite NYE moment was at Throwback. Don't come early, don't come late! The best time to enjoy this place is 10pm-1am in my opinion. The staff does not throw you out, they make sure you have somewhere to go even though that should never be a concern for yourself. Go there if you'd like to have a fun, accepting, cool, and nonjudgemental environment in your corner!
Love the vibe and the atmosphere. Cool place but I wish they would actually play throwbacks. It was mainly rap music that we just couldn't dance to or knew. Killed the vibe.
Would leave zero if I could. Security physically harassed my friends. Wouldn’t allow them entry for no reason whatsoever. Never go here. You’ll have a much better time down at Aura nightclub.
I witnessed the security assault someone here for literally no reason at all and when I tried to help the poor guy off the ground and ask why they were hurting him they kicked the both of us out. Also had some friends that got kicked out of their VIP booth after paying for it! Terribly mixed drinks for 10$. Literally the same as the door fee. Violently aggressive security. Don’t come here unless you have a camera to record the possible harm their security might incur to you.
Nice staff and great music. Our go to spot to go dancing! Security is always present and they always make us feel safe.
