Had an amazing experience at a local corner favorite "The Lunch Box" They were kind and friendly come they offered to heat our sandwiches and not sure we had everything we needed. Very friendly staff and was delighted to have eaten there. They have homemade sandwiches, varying from an Italian club, to ham and cheese to a special that has turkey, ham, cheese and bacon! They also make homemade potato salad. If you were in the West bottoms in Kansas City Missouri and need a place to a place to stop for a quick beverage or bite this is a perfect stop -JMS
I like going to the lunch box they have good food in the day during lunch hrs and the staff is friendly (except one guy who wrks nights, acts as though he doesn't really wanna be there, bad attitudes if you catch him on a bad day and rushes ppl sometime. Definitely not good customer service) the rest of the crews pretty awesome. Especially the essay guys! The drinks are priced reasonable bein it's in missouri, except they dnt always have wat ya want but overall pretty cool... it's a laid back atmosphere if you dnt like a lot crowds or standing in lines...and it's has a comfy feel...
Excellent lunch options, staff are friendly, and despite usually having a long line, the food is made quickly.

The Mexican hot dog is my favorite.I have not had one bad meal from here. If you go around lunch time, there is a wait sometimes. I recommend ordering online.

This is one if the best Greasy spoons Kansas City has. Food is fresh and plentiful. Price us super friendly. In construction we like to call UT the Eddie V's of West bottoms. Make sure your hungry.
