I went with friends for the wings and live jazz/r&b. This place did not disappoint! Wings were delicious, drinks were on point and the music was perfect. Made me feel like I was back home in NOLA! Shout out to the bartender- she was the only one there for the first 2 hours and she kept food and drinks flowing. This is a perfect place for a date or to just chill and listen to good music. I will definitely be back.

My friend JJ & his band was/is awesome ?????‍♀️????‍♀️

Love the drinks and listening to music. Could be cleaner. Door service needs work. Two stepping only. Decent food.

Jay Sol and the Go Hard Band were on point tonight!!! The establishment was nice, well set up. Drinks were poured and food was served. Might be my new Saturday thing!!

The environment was lovely ????????????? I was there for a family event and I was very impressed by the jazz art displays. I had a chance to meet the partner,, she was very pleasant to chat with; especially since she was knowledgeable about sports. So I was all the way in my lane. I'm going back very soon. If you live in the KCMO area or plan to visit the area with the intent of having fun ? Check Em Off!!

My GF and I were looking to hear some good jazz and support black business so we decided to come to this place tonight 26 Mar 22. I had my GF go in as I parked. It was 12 am when their website says it closed at 1:30 , and the door was open. My GF walked in and stood at the door noone was there but two ppl. After a little while she asked " are you guys open " there was an older man there and he said " no there is no music playing !" .. She thought he was playing because surely noone who is in an establishment and wants customers would be that rude! Alast, he wasn't joking and the one bartender there mumbled " is she just going to stand there !?"... Ofocurse we left and will not be coming back. I can see why they are empty and have to close at 12am on a Friday in a Metropolitan area.

Had a blast, the food was hot and fresh as ordered. I had fried catfish, gumbo and corn bread. The show host was funny and gave a great opening show. The local talent sounded good and rehearsed and the band represented them well. The drinks were good and my tab was surprisingly cheap, a nice spot to chill at and hear live local talent!

Entertaining...Nice to see local talent!Didn't eat any food...drinks weren't very good ( need to invest in real bartenders

Loved it!! Old School Vibe, Strong Drinks, Friendly helpful staff, just Needs More Bar attendees.

If you appreciate Home town Jazz talent, $5.00 cover great place
