We chose to host our wedding ceremony and reception at The Classic Cup Café and we could not have been happier with the result. The event coordinators Jess and Cameron as well as the manager Jeff were all great resources and the event went perfectly. We highly recommend Classic not only for their normal breakfast/brunch/lunch but also as a place to host an event. We used the Main Dining room for the ceremony and reception and the Classic Cellar for the cocktail hour. During the reception the outdoor spaces were available as well. We had approximately 70 guests. The catering menu was amazing and we had many compliments on the food. We were able to make signature drinks as well.
Brilliant lively and really cool cafe with amazing food and outstanding service. A must visit restaurant if your visiting Kansas City
This was one of the few places open before 10AM in the Plaza and glad we stumbled upon it. We came here twice for breakfast in during our four day trip to Kansas City. Both times we sat outside in their enclosed sidewalk patio, though they do have a larger patio area in the back. We had the same waiter, Tyler, both times and he was wonderful. The food was delicious. We didn't have high expectations due to the reviews we saw, but were pleasantly surprised when they were exceeded.
We had a delicious lunch. The place serves breakfast and lunch all day, and they close at 2pm. So, it's both a brunch place, as well as a breakfast AND lunch place! We sat on the outdoor area, which is beautiful. The person that took me said that the outdoor area in the back was even prettier. So, I might have to come back. I love my eggs benedict, and theu were delicious here.
Excellent menu, fabulous breakfast cocktails. Great location in the middle of Country Club Plaza. The service was really good. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend the Sicilian omelette.
We go to the classic cup about once every year. What are our favorite destinations on the plaza. Kitchy environment with really outstanding fresh entrees, meaning they come with a twist that you can't really find elsewhere. It's always troublesome when you want to order two or three and you just can't make up your mind. Good value too.
Such a cute brunch spot.The atmosphere was comfortable and we were immediately seated upon arrival, but I would expect a wait. The restaurant was very busy but the staff still provided excellent customer service. Mary Lou was my waitress she was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu items and did a wonderful job assisting me with my order. My food arrived promptly and I was very satisfied with my selection.
We walked in a minute before their closing time. We were both very thirsty from walking around for a while and just wanted a few drinks. We sat at the bar and had a Soda and coffee and waters. They were very kind to allow us to sit while they were cleaning and wrapping up with other customers. Thank you for your extended kindness and service yesterday

Who doesn't love waffles and mimosas, sangria or bloody Mary with breakfast, this place has a great omelette called the Sicilian, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Came on Saturday morning after a good night Friday with the work crew in KC.
