The food is good but the new girl keeps messing up the orders every time I come. 1st she said there was no chef to prepare the food after I paid so I ask for a refund. She doesn’t know how to do refunds . Then I come again she make tacos and the recipe was totally off cause it was super dry never had a dry taco from them so I know she made it incorrectly. It didn’t even taste the same. Today I go order a bowl told her NO beans. I get home and guess what’s in my bowl?… BEANS!!! I wanted to go back and return but they are now closed. Said I would go tomorrow but they are closed On Sundays. Now I’m out of 15$ of food that I can’t eat and can’t even return to get my money back. I come all the time but the new girl needs more training or I’m going to get too frustrated and not come till she gone.
first time eating here and was not disappointed!! i got the Beach Party bowl and it was so so so good. It is packed with different flavors but they all work so well together. The sweet plantains and steamed cabbage was my favorite part of the meal :)
We popped in here before going to a concert and we are glad we did. The food is so good. I recommend The Carnival. It is a yellow curry dish with chicken, potatoes over rice. So good.
We enjoyed Reggae Vibes and Beach Party tonight! Great friendly service and the food was flavorful! We will definitely be back!

You know when something is so yummy that you need to stop immediately and go write a review? That’s how my meal from Taste Island Grill made me feel. I ordered the Beach Party, Tilapia Fish Bowl. It was insanely good - the right level of spice, huge piece of tilapia that was super fresh, and the best tasting sweet plantains. I cannot wait to go back and get this again! Also, they do an incredible job with their carry out orders. So impressed.

Stopped in just to try it out, and we were rewarded with amazing food! The chef was very nice, and helpful. The bowls were delicious, but the guava spiced wings stole the show! We tried 3 different meals and all were unique and delicious! Don't pass up the chance to try this place!
What a great spot. The gentleman working was warm and inviting and picked the tacos for us on our taco trios. They were a little pricy at $15 but they were WELL worth it. Packed full of meat and fresh ingredients and full of flavor.The highlight had to have been the wings and fries though. The Killing Me Softly wings were just the perfect blend of spicy and sweet and were super tender. The fries that came with it were also cooked well.Overall, I definitely recommend this place for sure. It’s a little high on price but once you try the food you understand why. Quality ingredients mixed with prices of everything going up right now so it’s completely understandable. Will be going again to try more tacos and bowls.
