My favorite tacos in Kansas City are the Shrimp and avocado tacos from this taqueria. I’m not saying it’s the most authentic place in town but these tacos are DELICIOUS. Highly recommend.
The best mexican food in town. Carnitas, service and the ownership the hardest working folks in the area. Last night after 100's of meals there, had the Churro's with Ice Cream. ***** WOW. must have for every visit. All food is handmade, takes a few minutes longer, but worth the wait. Steve
consistently yummy food every time. you cannot go wrong with any of the food here, everything is great. my favorite mexican restaurant in kc.
Food was super fresh and delicious. We are on our way back again today. If they had coke products instead of Pepsi I'd be there more lol
Great food and customer service. Reasonable pricing. Nice salsa bar. Would recommend to anyone.
Delicious tacos and tamales. So flavorful and made from scratch salsas. They also make their own ice cream. Customer service was outstanding as usual. Everything is great except the parking situation. This place is always so super busy.
Absolutely rude to everyone who was ordering tacos. They will not customize the tacos at all - you get what they give you, and they don't care if you'd rather just walk out.Lived in Mexico City for 3 years...the street tacos here at Dos De Oros are American-ized and lack any flavor. The amount of meat is non-negotiable. I even asked to combine two tacos into one... (i.e. I pay for 20 tacos, but just give me 10 full ones. They refused! Its like the tacos were pre-made or something (Absolutely NO CHANGES!!)Save your money...just go to Taco Bell. At least you expect them to taste horrible.
Go-to order: two Al Pastor tacos and a cheese quesadilla with no beans, and a glass-bottled Coke. Plus all the self-serve fixings (salsas, curtido, carrot salad, pupusa sauce). Treat yo self without having to beat yo self!
Awesome authentic mexican restaurant! Food is A+ and so is the low key atmosphere. The salsa bar is a huge winner. We visit weekly.
Food was decent. Priced fair. From CA so I wasn't used to my burrito being smothered in queso, but it wasn't bad. The tamales were bland (no flavor) and the meat to masa ratio was off.
