I tried this place for the first time. Pleasantly surprised. The place was transformed from an old BK and remodeled nicely. They have many many options from authentic Mexican to traditional burger options. While I perused the menu people in line commented that everything on the menu was really good. I got the Street Tacos on recommendation from someone and they held up to the hype. I got the chicken and chorizo tacos. They were very flavorful and full (some places half fill the shell). My to go plate was well prepared and the presentation was good as well. My tacos stayed warm for the trip home. For my appetizer I got the chips and salsa, very good. The chips with a hint of salt, were not too thick to bite through and not so thin they would not hold the salsa. Staff was extremely nice, patient and helpful as I made my way through the 50 or so combinations. Prices were very reasonable. I will be back to explore other options on their menu.
I have had visited no less than eight times, usually trying something new on each trip...have never been disappointed. I'm happy every time. The family that runs this restaurant are friendly, and they keep the store very clean and stocked with fresh ingredients, as well as many kinds of treats and snacks not available in my local grocery store. We are lucky to have this establishment in our community!
No window service only phone orders but they never answer the phones!!!!!! Been here many times and it’s always the same excuses
Love this place. Lived in KC now for 7 years and this is the first Mexican restaurant I truly love. I’m from South Texas and was continually disappointed in the options in the area until now. Delicious food and treats. 10/10 recommend. The people working are extremely nice as well.
Nice place, tried it for the first time, had the street tacos and they were delicious!! ? I will be going back. especially for some dessert ???
The street tacos were very good and the ice cream sundae was delicious. Next time I want to try the corn. The staff was very nice and polite. Only negative things would be that they don't have a soda fountain so all drinks are in bottles, and the menu is not up on the screens above the register.
Love this place. Very kind staff. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Great menu selection. Fresh fruit. Delicious ice creams and paletas. The also have a great variety of ice cream and aguas frescas. Don't forget to try the specials. They explain and let you try free samples of what the have. Can't wait to go again. Se abla Español. Todo aqui esta bein rico y fresco. Me Encanto todo.
First time coming by as I was in the area.. they do have a lot to choose from! I’m giving it 4 stars due to the food being good but nothing amazing. There are better places to get Mexican food. I do like all of the Dessert options they have.
First time visitor yesterday, ordered a Diablo Burrito and a Strawberry horchata, both were excellent. This isn't Taco Bell or Chipotle, I can't tell you for sure that it's authentic Mexican but it is a huge departure from most of what you see around town.Good service, I was served within 5 minutes of ordering and the food was fresh and hot. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table.I was impressed at how spotlessly clean the interior of the restaurant was, the floor looked as if it has been steam cleaned the night before.Want something different? You'll find it here and I think you'll be glad you tried it.
Ordered the Loaded Steak Nachos, Carne Asada Burrito, Steak & Chicken Street Tacos, Elote, Chicken Flautas, and Jarritos Strawberry & Mandarin sodas. The place is very clean with a large menu. While we waited for our food we tried the icecream and it was delicious. The service alone was amazing and fast. Everything tasted authentic, the loaded nachos with their special white sauce was delicious, the elote was decent and the Flautas was really really good. Everything was nicely prepared. I would definitely go back!
