Fun speakeasy vibe bar, it's cash only but they do have an ATM on site. Staff was very friendly and they have a wide array of cocktails to choose from. No food offered so we chose to grab dinner before then enjoy cocktails after. It's entrance is on the side of a building, you follow down some stairs into a waiting room and the host brings you in when there's room. Cool vibes, getting in with 2-4 wasn't difficult but larger groups might have trouble sitting together. Highly recommend to make a visit.

If you like speakeasy’s this place is a MUST GO. Hard to find, intimate in nature, and with a retro vibe, this place has everything you need from a speakeasy — including great cocktails! Depending on how busy they are you may need to wait to get in. Our group of 3 waited about 10 -15 minutes to get in.
Very authentic speakeasy feel. Door hidden in the alley. Knock for entrance if space is available. Cash only. Classy but unpretentious. Hidden softly-lit basement lounge atmosphere.Great place to stop with out of town guests for a fairly unique taste of KC's historic culture.
This place has been on my list for a long time. And it was worth the wait. Our server and the bartender was FANTASTIC. The extensive menu is only surpassed by the bartenders willingness to make sure you have a drink you like. I'm a Manhattan girl so this is the perfect bar for me. I couldn't decide so I let the bartender decide my drink for me and he choose well.The music is loud enough that you notice it but doesn't preclude you from having a decent conversation with the person you came with. Lucky for us there was a group headed down the alley or we might still be looking for the door! Cool vibe. We will be back.
It was a really cool mellow place good music selection. I like that the drinks are reasonable and the staff were super polite. There is a ATM in the bar and it is a cheap service charge.
My sister and mother were in town and this place has been on their list of places to check out. Ambiance was really cool and the lead up to the actual entrance was really cool as well. My chief complaint is that they are a cash only bar and this was not something we knew about before heading into the location. Can't knock them for it as there is an ATM inside but I will keep that in mind if I'm ever in the area again. Definitely a cool place to check out for a drink or two and try their curated menu.
We found this place by happenstance, since we had time to spend before a dinner reservation and the speakeasy we planned to go to has permanently closed. What a fantastic find! From the steampunk fixtures to the cosy atmosphere, we loved it all. The cocktails were divine--served by, I assume, the very unassuming and charming Tom. If it is not so, please don't tell me otherwise!
Great drinks, amazing service and perfect atmosphere. Set up like an old school cocktail lounge the drink selection is great. The entrance is a bit tricky to find but if you see the octopus stairs, you're there. There's can be a bit of a wait on weekend nights but the place is small and that contributes to the private atmosphere. The server was super attentive and answered any questions about the drinks. Go check it out if you want a quiet spot for a good drink
We love this place. It is an amazing speakeasy in KC. Great cocktails and the service is amazing. Love that they require proof of vaccination to enter as well!
