The food is always fresh and presentation is very nice. The service is as good as the quality of food. We love this restaurant!
Yesterday we visited Swagat but we were not satisfied with taste of Dal makhani and Paneer. Dal makhani is no way near to authentic Dal makhani no cream , no fully cooked just lots of chillies. Panner Masala was just ok. Gajar halwa was good and samosa was also good. But main-course was disappointing. Apart from that for every item we need to wait. Service was so slow.
Everyone was just charming and welcoming. We started with the chicken pakora, pretty good start, the chutney was the best so far. For entrees, we got the lamb rogan josh and shahi korma. At first, they kinda tasted the same but we noticed the shahi has a richer flavor. We also added on the stuffed naan and that was a good decision. It was also really good. Overall, our experience was amazing! Would highy recommend to everyone.
Our first time eating at an Indian Cuisine establishment was this week after attending Immersive Van Gogh. Our experience at Swagat was an exceptional visit. Our waitress was kind enough to answer our many questions regarding the menu choices. The food preparation was quick and efficient and the dishes tasted so incredibly good. Swagat may very well have made Indian my favorite cuisine. Even though we eat from the vegan/vegetarian section, there are many other items on the menu we are going back to have in the near future. I may go with the hotter spice mix next time. ?
We followed our noses to this place when we parked to take the kids to play. The food was amazing and they let you choose your level of heat for every dish. We got mild and we have a four year old and a two year old who both ate pretty well. We ordered two main dishes and a couple of sides and it was enough that we had leftover to take home. Service was amazing and I'm sad I didn't find it sooner.
We travel extensively and Indian cuisine is usually one of our meals. This place is the real deal. $50 for two for the buffet lunch and it was fresh, well seasoned, and generously prepared. It was a treat in this part of the world.
Food here is always exceptional. Dinner for two option is more like “dinner for 4”! Outstanding service.
Love it. I had the the three person meal...more than enough for three people. The tandori was excellent and well cooked. All three curries were awesome lamb kadai..chicken tikka masala
When I called to make a reservation they didnt take down my name. They did not accommodate the seating we preferred. The server forgot to give us menus and had to be reminded. Our appetizer and meal came at the same time. Food was cold, the Swagat Mixed Grill we ordered looked messy, with all of the food items piled on-top of each other. They neglected to bring rice with all of the dishes we ordered as advertised. First time going since The pandemic, last time going for a lifetime! If you like Indian food try Seva in Liberty! Better food, Better experience!
This was my first time here. My adult son and I had a date day. It was his first time here also. We were seated right away and the service was perfect throughout the meal. We chose the dinner for 2 option to give of us some good selections: 2 appetizers, 3 main dishes, and dessert. It was delicious and plenty to take home for great leftovers. It's my new favorite place to eat in the Northland!
