Delicious food and awesome staff

Great atmosphere! Really good food, wide variety of menu choices! Good drinks! Service was attentive without being overbearing.

We had poutine, farmhouse burger, and Nashville Chicken Hot. The portions were huge. We had to take the entrees to go. They came with shoestring fries which were my favorite. The only downside was the slow service. The server took forever to take orders. After she got my credit card she forgot to bring it back with the bill for me to sign. Had to look for her for nearly 15 minutes. The place wasn't at all crowded at the time. Other than that I recommend the food.

Let me start off by saying this place has amazing food ?I have never been before last weekend but have only heard amazing things. Unfortunately those good things were about the other locations (Lee's Summit) and not this one (Waldo)Me and a few Co workers came up right after work, about 3pm on a Friday. After finding a large enough table to seat those of us who were already there and the other still yet to come we were quickly whisked away to a smaller table that accommodated who was present. The host knew we had more coming after we had informed her prior to us being seated. We waited at the table about 10-15 min for someone to come by and give us menus and take our drink orders. Finally I saw three maybe four staff members standing in a far corner of the area laughing and talking amongst one another. I made sure contact with atleast one and she came right over. "C" apologized for not realizing that she was assigned to our table and proceeded to get us taken care of with our orders. With in the next thirty minutes the remaining of our party trickled in so what was a table of three was now a table of five with still more to come! We did not wait for everyone to show up to order so food and drinks were coming in as the orders were placed. Once we ran out of room at the table we tried to slide the empty table that was next to us over to make up for the minimal seating. We were told by our server that we would not be able to move that table over as it was against policy and she ushered us over to the very table we were originally dismissed from ?At this point I was annoyed and found it very unaccommodating that we were forced to move tables after guys and drinks had been brought to the table. At that point we're should've been able to put the two tables together...Anyway. Two or three more people showed up, food and drinks were on point definitely the highlight of the day. We asked for our checks and to no one's surprise we were meet with more unsatisfactory service. I ended up with mine and another's food and drinks on my tab, someone else didn't have everything they ordered on there ticket. And various other issues with the remaining tickets. We were met with attitude and lack of care by our server and for this reason I will patronize other locations rather than this one.

This location is really busy so the service is not of the quality I would want. Steak was made well done instead of medium rare. Had to ask waiter for water refill and then it was accidentally spilled on my plate of food. And it is all because of it being at a rushed pace. The food was just okay it was great. But the cocktails were to perfection. I would come back for that anytime. Last the online reservation asked if it was for a special occasion and yes it was my birthday. I thought why did it ask unless there would be some mention of it during my time there, but sadly no. My first visit and I will give it another try but no time soon.

I absolutely loved the hot roast beef sandwich. It was great. My other companions food looked just as delicious. This was my first time, they offer parking in the back for the waldo location. Truth I can not wait to go back.

I love Summit Grille! They always have really fast service. The staff is always great. The seared ahi tuna on on the wonton nacho situation was to die for. The chicken fried chicken is easily my favorite in the city. It has a perfectly flavored crisp and lay atop a bed of savory whipped garlicy potatoes (and the green beans it comes with?! cooked to perfection and not to be overlooked). The salad was great.. my bf enjoyed the pasta bolognese a lot. The crispy smashed potatoes were just okay - probably won’t order again. And the sautéed mushrooms were a fan favorite as always. (Not pictured but the pot roast nachos are killer too!!!)

Brunch was delicious. Food was good and great portion sizes. The Bloody Mary was really good and went well with my corned beef brisket hash. Overall, great experience and would definitely revisit for their lunch/dinner offerings.

So disappointed for my first time here. I came out to meet my best friend for her birthday and her family to find out that the restaurant wouldn’t sit her party of (15) people. We asked if we could be separated into two groups and seated because the manager stated he only could sit groups of (8) people. The manager turned us away. My best friend loves Summit Grill so she wanted to come for a few drinks after dinner and we came back to see a group of (9) people seated together. It really broke my best friends heart when the only difference between our group of people versus that group of people is that they were white. We feel like we were discriminated against. When to asked to address the situation the manager hid out and never apologized. I will let everyone know not to come here. Summit Grill ruined my best friends birthday.

The food was good but definitely don’t recommend going on a SundaySigned up on waitlist and got a text confirming this only to show up to the restaurant an hour later and be told they never had me on file. Then we waited an hour and a half for our food. Didn’t really get an apology from management or anything when we brought it up but maybe you’ll have better luck than us!
