Good Experience was not too bad, but noticed that they have a few key items if you are going for the first time and some items that do not satisfy the taste buds.Chicken Tenders (Fried), Fries w/cheese and sauces are the way to go.Otherwise, I did not enjoy the other items ordered as much due to the taste and consistency.-Grilled Chicken (Not flavor)-PepperJack Sticks ( need to be fried harder & possibly try to do a half/half mozz)-Onion Strings (Great for a salad, but they don’t serve it anymore)-Mac (Definitely needs some change, didn’t taste any cheese. )-Mash Potatoes( Not to bad, just needs some change maybe less gravy or flavor in the potatoes)Just some suggestions, but great chicken tenders (Fried) and enjoy the breading. I assume they use a fried fish breading to give it a crispy flaky taste.Great experience, would suggest some cleaning on the inside. (Looked like it had not been cleaned since opening)
We went to strips and it was our first time and it was a really great experience, the food that we had was really well made and the service was great. The guy (Michael)behind the counter was very friendly and and deserves to be employee of the month. Keep doing what your doing and you will go far.
First time eating here. Chicken and fries were extremely tasty. The Donuts are fabulous. However, our experience wouldn't have ever exceeded all of our expectations without Micheal working behind the counter. He is one of the sweetest most personable men I've ever encountered in a restaurant. He's definitely a gem to have on staff. Went above and beyond & while dining in - he's like that with everyone he encounters.Can't wait to come back and eat again !!!
Absolutely the best food you can buy in a fast-food setting! Over the past year having lived near Strips Waldo I've tried quite a few of the menu items and have zero complaints! Every single food item is delicious and seems to be made fresh and full of flavor! Best chicken strips I've ever had!
Heard this place was talked up for being local. Sauces are okay.... Buffalo has more kick than mango habanero odd but okay. I think I rather grab canes sauce over the Secret sauce. Meal shown was $18 for upgraded cheese sticks, 5 piece stripes and drink. Cheese sticks are pretty good. Chicken is juicy has a nice breading. The little donuts could rate 5 starts alone
I love this place so much! Strips is my favorite place in the world for gluten free fast food. ?You can 100% tell the owner cares about both his employees and his customers. Strips is a KC hidden gem.
Allow me to start by saying my first experience at this location was excellent, and I actually recommended it to several people. I went again the other night, and I was seriously disappointed. First off, tipping. Tipping is for service industry workers that work below minimum wage and is given after service has been received and generally coincides with the level of service delivered. Pulling up to a drive-thru window and immediately being faced with a tipping screen on their card reader was a bit of a shock. If you don't tip, what are they going to do to your food? $15 (with tip) for a drive through meal for one person (sandwich and a side, not even a drink) is a little ridiculous. When I got home and dug into the delicious smelling meal, I was greeted with salt. I honestly couldn't taste anything but salt. It's like they spilled an entire container onto it. I did eventually finish the sandwich, but threw away the fried pickles and jalapenos. I'm really disappoint. I should have just gotten takeout from one of the local bar and grills, and I will next time. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is that it was good the first time I had it.
We’ve been going to Strips very regularly since they opened in Waldo. It’s generally very good. I just wish it were a bit more consistent. Some days it is amazing! Some days, average to bad. Overall good food.
Long time customer of their Olathe location. There is no other choice in this area for fantastic gluten free fried chicken, fried pickles, onion straws. They have been intentional about having great GF options from the beginning.Not just great chicken, their burgers are also very good as are the sides. The white chicken chili is delicious.
I love this place. They have consistently great food. If you are looking for chicken strips or a fried pork sandwich, I don't know where else I could possibly recommend. Also, the Honey Mustard sauce is wonderful and the donuts with every meal are a nice touch.
