First time at Stock Hill was an enjoyable experience. Steaks were quality beef and prepared to order. Sides were varied selection and mushrooms and oysters were very good. Service was spot on making you feel appreciated and since special occasion above and beyond. Lively environment with fairly open dining area without distanced to close for private dining experience. Gary waiter was very personable and quick to offer insight into dining options. Cocktails were premium and tasty. Valet parking was a very pleasant surprise. Desert was quite decadent and great finish to visit.

It was an incredible night expect for one thing - the table service forgot we were there celebrating a birthday. When I set up the reservation on Open Table, I selected birthday as the special occasion. In fact, when we arrived the host acknowledged the fact we were celebrating at Stock Hill. So at the end of the night when this was overlooked, we were a bit disappointed. However, as always the ambiance was fantastic, the food was better than fantastic and our staff was friendly. Despite this omission of the evening, it won't stop us from going back. Stock Hill is still one of my favorite restaurants in the city!
Very good fine dining but you pay fine dining prices. Top 5 meals I have had but like I say you pay for what you get.

Had happy hour in the bar. Bar staff did not know the specials of the day. Took a minute to get their attention each time although we were in on of the couches right when you walk out of the bar. Drinks were good. Would be nice to have more options on the happy hour menu as far as food goes or at least give us a menu for the restaurant when we ask for it.
We were there for a birthday weekend with our out of town friend. Good food but very loud. Server was nice but not overly friendly.
The service and the food were all great. The atmosphere was relaxed and felt like a breath of fresh air. I would go back for a nice occasion.
Stock Hill was great again. We enjoyed our very well seasoned steak with the butter. They had a card waiting for us to congratulate our 2 year Anniversary. Thank you again. We will be back.
